2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Renae from Mark Dodge let me know I have a tentative Build Date of 29 Jan on my 2500 Limited, I'm feeling a little better now!
I bet. It was starting to look like you might have gotten skipped. I'm hoping I'll hear something soon on my 10/25 order. It's pretty disconcerting to see lots of orders after yours go D1 or popping sheets/stickers.

Dealer called today and said my truck should be on the lot by tomorrow! Order placed Sept 29th. So I feel I'm in the average time frame from Order to taking Delivery. I hope those with orders placed before me get their trucks soon. Got everything I wanted with the exception of Power Fold Mirrors. May order these down the road once the Chip supply shortage subsides. I'll post pictures once I can make the trip to the dealership to retrieve.....

I was just on Interstate 70 westbound headed toward Washington PA. There’s a car hauler with a load of new HD’s headed west I would presume from Baltimore? There’s a Billet Silver sport DRW 3500 hanging on the back. Tried to snap a pic but couldn’t act fast enough.

And I’m wondering if this could be a load from Lordstown too. If they came down 79 then hit the turnpike for dealers there, then hit 70 west.

No this load was east of Washington and 79 so I’m thinking it came out of Baltimore. I couldn’t see the colors of the trucks in front of the dually on the back but they were HD’s for sure.

But if they took 79 south, then got on 76 up by cranberry, they would then get on 70 out by New Stanton which would put them headed west coming into Washington. I’m just trying to figure out a way this could be my transport.

Doubt that. They would take 79 south directly to Washington pa. This load was ten minutes east of the 79 south / I70 interchange so I’m thinking it came out of Baltimore. They’d run 68 or 76 to I70 and then possibly 79 north to Pittsburgh? James_setz2784 maybe that was the load your dealer was expecting?

I wish! But I keep getting my ETA pushed back and back and back..... it was originally 12/13-12/20, now it’s 1/11-1/25

Who knows. I just wonder what a load from Baltimore would be doing out here. My dealer is 25 minutes from where you saw that transport and they get trucks out of Lordstown. Makes me wonder where the boundaries are for what comes from Baltimore vs what comes from Lordstown.

Several members on here ordered trucks through dealers in Pittsburgh or north of Pittsburgh and their trucks were shipped by sea to Baltimore, rather than by rail through Lordstown. My truck was ordered 40 minutes south of Pittsburgh and it came by rail through Lordstown. There doesn’t seem ti be much rhyme or reason for the transport process.

I can't get out of the starting gate to begin the wait!

I ordered on 20 Dec... Then decide I wanted the 4:10 rear... So reordered on the 30th and had the first order cancelled. Today I checked to see if a Vin had been assigned and got an email back saying when the first order was cancelled so was the second order. So I'm still at the starting line. Oh well, I'm in no rush.

Or at least that's what I'm telling myself.

I was worried for sure. Hopefully your next.

Ok, no pics, did you get VIN's??? ;)

….my wife was driving. So no, I didn’t get pics. She makes fun of me enough as it is because I’m always on this forum. I don’t need to give her more ammunition to fire

At least yours only makes fun of you. Mine talks pure trash. But she's old she'll get over it...:D

brv10, can you pinpoint location of my Laramie? ETA is next ten days. Maybe it’s in the Badger state!?!? I’m like a kid counting down the days to Christmas..

I hope you have deep pockets for the gas pump. The gas expense for a 6.4 liter with a 4:10 gears could in time equal the added expense of the base diesel option especially when towing. Of course I guess that depends on the percentage of time towing.

So to get the true car $500 you have to be a pen fed member for 60 days. To contact by phone Pen Fed you might as well try flying off a building with some dental floss.
Contacted True Car was not quite as bad but absolutely not helpful except for being told the guy couldn’t help me with rates and to call Pen Fed and that I wouldn’t be eligible for the $500 incentive because I wasn’t a member.
If you go online to Pen Fed to inquire they will not let you get through the pages without your social. I won’t give my Social on line to find a rate that’s not what they publish.
Usually if you speak to someone and tell them to run your given credit score for rate purposes only so you can compare they will. But so far both times I requested a call from Pen Fed it hasn’t been returned. Same with the email I sent.
Sooooo bottom line, add expletive here, Pen Fed! Not worth financing with that business. To give a 1 star review which I did, is giving too much.
Marsh at Mark Dodge is a stellar person, super honest and they are super competitive. I’ll finance through them. I think it’s 2.37 or something close. Probably the same as Pen Fed. And that’s for 72 months. I think for 60 months it was 1.99.

FYI: my truck came in Tuesday and I finally made it to the dealer today finalize the deal. I went online Tuesday night and got the true car $500 discount code and email and my dealer didn’t even blink about honoring it. Took all of 60 secs to get the code. Not sure what the deal is with pen fed. I financed 1/2 the cost and had pre approved thru USAA for 1.89%.
