I think the Limited aren't moving anymore. Mine has had no movement from D on a OCT 11th placed order.

Maybe the orders for Longhorn and Limited trim packages have increased because people have figured out that the best guarantee to get the options you want is to order a Longhorn or a Limited. Parts shortages could now be slowing down the higher trim levels.

My buddy has over 1200 Ford Transit vans on order, and only 75 have been delivered… ouch

Sounds like your buddy owns a vehicle rental/leasing company.

The adjustable folding mirrors are not in the package for the Big Horn. You may be able to get them on a Limited or Longhorn. I wanted them but couldn't get them. The were available for a few weeks then stopped because of supply demand on the higher priced trucks. Would be much cheaper to purchase them aftermarket. I seen a couple videos on an aftermarket install. Doesn't look hard for an average do it yourself job. Maybe a 3 on a scale of 1-5 and some minor tools.

Hey all, I am looking to order a new 2022 2500 with the Cummins to replace my 2019 2500 Hemi. I went to a dealership today and was surprised that the side-mirrors didn't have the electric fold capabilities like my current truck. Is this something you can option for the Big Horn on the 2022 models? If so, which package is this a part of? I need my folding mirrors!

Between losing the power folding mirrors and the 360 view on my Laramie order I upped it to a Limited. Like a previous posting, probably caused a slowdown on the upper trim levels.

So has anyone heard if the affiliate program is going again? I got an Email through tread lightly and it gave me a new control number and says to bring it to any Ram dealer to get 1% under invoice! I had one that expired but this new one says it’s valid til 1/3/23.

I was quoted Affiliate Pricing back in Sept when I ordered. No mention of any change - when truck was delivered in November they honored original Quote.

Just checked the train status of my truck and at 11:45 last night it left New Orleans for Montgomery Alabama on its way to Florida after sitting in New Orleans since Monday morning. Since it crossed the Mississippi River there is now CSX engines pulling the train instead of Union Pacific.

I had a person buy from me a set of OEM HD trailer mirrors that I had bought and didn't use. The reason he bought mine was his aftermarket mirrors vibrated because they were not built as rigid. His were also causing communication issues within the modules of the truck and making other features of the truck malfunction. Something to keep in mind and read reviews on them before buying aftermarket. OEM mirrors are expensive but they function properly.

I agree OEM is the best way to go! However, if RAM can't get them I doubt a customer can. If so I bet they are ridiculously expensive in todays market. Might be able to get them once the supply shortgages cease. I'm going to try for the latter......

I know this is a long shot here but this forum led me to Mark Dodge and saved $10k on my truck order. Now I’m looking to do the same but with a Ford Transit cargo van. Does anyone know of a Ford dealer that works with special orders like MD does?

Don’t get me wrong here though. I’m a die hard Ram fan but I’m just not a fan of the Promaster vans.

Try Granger Motors in IA. I almost pulled the trigger on an F350 they quoted me. Great pricing. They sell Ram also and are on these boards. As recently as page 1122.

I really hope that’s not the case, that’s what I’m waiting on since June. Not sure if it affects you guys down south as much but the sunroof and I’ve even heard night edition are on restriction so causing delays up here.

I plasti dipped most of my badging on my current 2014 because I hate the chrome look but unless you’re seriously in need of the truck I’d say get what you want. You’re spending a pile of money and I’d hate to order almost the truck I want. I could be wrong too I’ve just been waiting since June so I’m anxious to get it here already.

June order should be close, friend ordered in July his truck arrived dec 24. Don't think they started building the 22s til late sept..

Well, after six and a half months my seemingly elusive Laramie hit the lot in Caldwell, ID. Flying out tomorrow to finalize the deal and head east. I’ll post final pics and update the spreadsheet once it’s officially mine.

Except the aftermarket ones don't have power convex mirror. A couple weeks ago I was able to change my Laramie to a level A and get the power fold mirrors.

That’s exactly what I have ordered, limited HO CTD, with the sunroof and night edition. I was back and forth between patriot blue and I guess in the US it’s sold as delmonico red in Canada they call it red pearl. I’ve seen some really nice dark grey night editions though I don’t think you could really go wrong with any colour choice.

I'd hate to wait an extra 2 months for a truck that I really need by May if possible, just for the NE package - I'm fine to plastidip if that avoids the extra wait time. The build/delivery delays suck right now

Night Edition includes power fold mirrors. AFAIK. At least on Laramies and Limiteds since they are listed as standard features on those trims.

Laramies were not offered with NE for a few months because I guess RAM or whoever wanted to keep the black power fold mirrors for the highest end Limited and the most sold model Big Horn.

When I ordered mine the power option was under the level 1 package which is now level A. But it doesn’t show on my build. When I asked the dealer he said they removed it from that package. I’m assuming due to parts availability.
