2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Well darn. I guess I can spec things a bit differently and move up to the Laramie trim. Does anyone have a clue if it's included with Laramies?
It wasn't in December, but who knows at this point. It's part of why I ended up moving up to the limited.

That really is a pretty color on a truck. I went with the pearl white again, but if I could make one change it would be to this color. Sharp looking truck
Thanks! Though I wouldn’t be disappointed with pearl white either. I actually really like most of the color options for 3500. This is something I think Ram does well.

First Ram, first heavy duty, so what size lug nut on the 20” stock black night edition wheels? 7/8” like other full size 1500 GM’s or bigger?
Also curious if anyone knows overall height of 2500 SRW Laramie, coil suspension. 80 inches?
Thanks in advance

Hey all, I am looking to order a new 2022 2500 with the Cummins to replace my 2019 2500 Hemi. I went to a dealership today and was surprised that the side-mirrors didn't have the electric fold capabilities like my current truck. Is this something you can option for the Big Horn on the 2022 models? If so, which package is this a part of? I need my folding mirrors!
The adjustable folding mirrors are not in the package for the Big Horn. You may be able to get them on a Limited or Longhorn. I wanted them but couldn't get them. The were available for a few weeks then stopped because of supply demand on the higher priced trucks. Would be much cheaper to purchase them aftermarket. I seen a couple videos on an aftermarket install. Doesn't look hard for an average do it yourself job. Maybe a 3 on a scale of 1-5 and some minor tools.

Can't imagine it would be an issue. Just be aware that they'll be using your truck to pick you up and drive you back to MD.
They wont be driving my truck out there I can tell you that much, they have to send two vehicles when they deliver one so the driver has a ride back, they can pick me up in their shuttle truck…

4x4 is a little over 80. 2wd is under 79. Varies a little by chassis length. You can get the precise values off Ram website for your particular config. Look at the “specs” tab on the 2500 page: https://www.ramtrucks.com/ram-2500/specs.html

I believe lug nuts are 14 mm thread. Hex is 22mm

I know this is a long shot here but this forum led me to Mark Dodge and saved $10k on my truck order. Now I’m looking to do the same but with a Ford Transit cargo van. Does anyone know of a Ford dealer that works with special orders like MD does?

Don’t get me wrong here though. I’m a die hard Ram fan but I’m just not a fan of the Promaster vans.

If i recall correctly power folding mirrors not to be confused with power mirrors were taken out of BigHorn and Laramie packages in early October due to insufficient parts.

But i believe they may be available again in certain Laramie packages. Look for Laramie B package or maybe Tow Tech or maybe Night Edition.

I dont remember specifically so check with dealer. The salesman should have a list of current items in each package.

They’re back for Laramie in towing tech package. I ordered 12/28 and included in my order.

I’ll start this off by saying I’m from Canada so definitely hasn’t helped but I ordered a truck back beginning of June/21 and checked earlier this week still no movement. All I have is a VON so still just hoping to get a VIN. Taking it with a grain of salt but dealer escalated to FCA Canada back in November after some complaining from me and we were told February looked promising for build so fingers crossed! Seeing some people in similar boats makes me feel less alone at least

So has anyone heard if the affiliate program is going again? I got an Email through tread lightly and it gave me a new control number and says to bring it to any Ram dealer to get 1% under invoice! I had one that expired but this new one says it’s valid til 1/3/23.

My buddy has over 1200 Ford Transit vans on order, and only 75 have been delivered… ouch

Thanks for reply. Anybody else confirm or deny?
You just got an answer, which was the correct one. But if you read this thread .... and paid attention to what you are reading you would know already. There is a lot of great information in this thread, and on this forum. Too many people are clogging it up with repetitive posts.

Rant over.

You could try Miles at dan cummins. He has a thread.

The transit is terrible, I hate driving it at work.

Actually the high end Longhorns and Limiteds arent doing too bad. The Longhorns were outpacing everyone for a while by percentage of orders being tracked here.
I think the Limited aren't moving anymore. Mine has had no movement from D on a OCT 11th placed order.

When I ordered my bighorn 10/21 power folding mirrors were part of level a equipment. When I got my build sheet they weren’t on it so I asked. Was told they changed the package after I ordered. I wanted them, but wasn’t a deal breaker because I wanted a truck more.

I had a person buy from me a set of OEM HD trailer mirrors that I had bought and didn't use. The reason he bought mine was his aftermarket mirrors vibrated because they were not built as rigid. His were also causing communication issues within the modules of the truck and making other features of the truck malfunction. Something to keep in mind and read reviews on them before buying aftermarket. OEM mirrors are expensive but they function properly.
