My truck's status changed to KZT a couple days ago. It's in Texas and headed to it's new home. I want to thank brv10 for the status report and the rail car info.
That is tough. I think I heard you have to buy withing 14 days to get the price protection?Well, RamChat says ETA to dealer is 01/05 - 01/20. At this point, I figure it’ll be closer to 1/20. My issue lies in that I work overseas, 28 days on, 28 off. I leave on Jan 13. I won’t return home until Feb 12. I asked Mark Dodge what would happen if the truck comes while I’m at work. They said I have 7 days from when it arrives to set up finances. Which, I think is kinda messed up, seeing as I’ve waited 6+ months for this truck and they can’t wait a few weeks for me to return home to set up finances! As well as held $1,000 of mine. I can make it happen, but it’s hard. I’m in the middle of the ocean and my communications aren’t the greatest. It is what it is!

I feel your pain. I worked offshore for 12.5 years. Brazil, S. Korea, GoM, South Africa and Singapore. I closed on a house from a drill ship in 2012. I would think a truck can be done in 2022. At least MD told me as long as I have access to a computer and printer/scanner you can sign and set up finances without being in person. Good luck. It'll work out for ya.Well, RamChat says ETA to dealer is 01/05 - 01/20. At this point, I figure it’ll be closer to 1/20. My issue lies in that I work overseas, 28 days on, 28 off. I leave on Jan 13. Can you get financing at your local bank and do the deal before you leave? Is there such a thing as a bank bond that would hold it?Well, RamChat says ETA to dealer is 01/05 - 01/20. I couldnt remember if it was torx bit ot standardThanks for suggestion. That might do it but I tried that without success - the only part accessible is the lower fixed part of latch. 4 fasteners = 2 ea 10mm hex screws and 8 mm hex nuts
But it is not notched so there is no adjustment. Better to let Dealer deal with it before I mess something up.
Then again, Ram ain't very accurate at all with these dates. You may not see it until February or March. Ask me how I know.Well, RamChat says ETA to dealer is 01/05 - 01/20. That's a friggin shame! Why does everyone think we all have office jobs around the corner and always have to meet their expectations. People who do business with customers need to start thinking about those customers who keep them in business!!! Have you spoken to the owner of the dealership? I wouldn't think he/she would want this negativity drawn towards his/her business. I set up finances with my bank and it's set in stone for 45 days and I know my truck is only a week or two from the dealership. The main problem is the unit could have several thousands of dollars worth of transport damage and will have signed the paperwork prior to actually seeing the truck. If it works out you MUST sign the paperwork while on the job I'd ask for a few hundred pictures....... bet they won't want to do that......Well, RamChat says ETA to dealer is 01/05 - 01/20. I keep hoping to see a post and picture about a truck delivery at Mark Dodge and notice my new truck in the back round or on the lot but in the picture, being a regular cab it would likely be mine.Ordered 6/22, Build Sheet 12/06, Window Sticker 12/08, Delivered to Mark Dodge 12/31.

Possibly, it won't be correct though, you could go back to D also.So when the truck goes into a D1 status is there usually a build date populated?

I don't blame Sandi for wanting her money as soon as possible as I understand (I may be wrong) doesn't she work from an out of state area? She wants her commission as soon as possible. I'd speak with the GM, but if need be go all the way to the top. Mark does a ton of business, he isn't hurting to pay his invoices immeadiately. Someone asked a few pages back what was the pay schedule for dealers to pay their invoices 30, 60, 90 days? You are only asking for a couple three weeks..... Good Luck my friend. Let us know how it all comes out.Exactly!! I’ve spoken with Sandi @ Mark Dodge, and that’s what she said. I may contact GM. You bring up a great point about damage and signing papers.
