Ha! The emission system on my Cummins doesn’t want to work when it’s colder the +10F, I’m in alaska, we spend a lot of time colder then +10F. Had -22F a couple weeks ago. it Try’s to regenerate but I don’t have the time to drive for an extra 20-30 minutes to let it finish. When it does finish, it goes Right back to being a problem the next day. Pretty much been in reduced power mode a lot due to it not making a complete regen. It's going To get a manual regen next week. if mine has a supplemental heater, it has never worked. I’ll let it warm up for 20-30 minutes the. Drive it to town 15-20 minutes, and it’s still cold inside. Glad it has the heated wheel and seats. I have an 2001 f350 gasser. Warm it up for 15 minutes, and it’s toasty before I leave. I tow several times a week but only 6-10klbs. I don’t work the depieselmhard enough for it to be happy. I don’t mind paying more for fuel, truck is $10ishK cheaper, fuel filters are dirt cheap, oil changes are easy, and no dpf/def system to make me scream and yell.Okay... Polar opposite here. I have a 2015 semi 6.4... I tow almost every day for work, and should have gotten the diesel... I'm tired of paying the highest price for gas and not having any power when anything is behind me! What's this about it being cold in the mornings? I thought all the diesels came with supplemental heaters? Looking forward to more power, cheaper gas, and dropping my gas engine...
My truck was just dropped off at MD!! WooHoo!!
Ordered 7/20how long did it take from order to MD?
If you're going from that to a 2022 Ram 3500 Crew Cab Longhorn 4x4....then it's going to be like living in a mud hut....to living in a Cowboys Palace!....some serious reverse culture shock there....LOLOld 2001 is cleaned out and ready to go. Figured I'd best take advantage of the nice weather today, who knows what it will be like when the new truck arrives.

A word on my deal. Sliman’s honored our deal and considering all the price uplifts I was significantly under MSRP. They price matched my extended warranty quote. The were straight shooters, honest and a pleasure to deal with. Mike (“Coach”) bought me a 6-pack of Christmas Ale, and threw in some great Ram gifts including the Mossy Oak Ram hat and a Ram coffee cup. Chris the GM and Jim who manages their Orders were all awesome. They kept me as up today’s as they could. If you need a dealer you should call them. Ask for Coach. They do out of state deals and shipping. https://www.slimans.net
Note I went with every available option on a Limited Mega NE STW HO 4x4. Here is the window sticker:

Never heard of such a thing. The single walled have a drain hole on the lip to drain water but a double wall does not need it. The pipe is not vented, why would a tip need to be? I am befungled……..non-sense!When I called they said that tip is not vented and they recommend I get a vented tip for the dpms and they don’t sell one. I wonder how important the venting is?
That is correct. I know he put me in the system back in 2020 but I don't think that is still available today.. Not sure how long it's good for.I think he already ordered and is looking for a way to get EP when it arrives.
I'm with you on the Kubotas. Brother in law is a dealer. I've owned 2360, 2660 and recently bought a MX6000 with loader. Two 726x Zero turns. All have been great pieces of equipment.I just traded a Kubota B2650 (now called an LX) in this new Grand L L3560HSTC. I pretty much love my Kubota machines, but I've never had another brand. I know that JD has a crap loader valve, you can't smoothly lift and curl or smoothly lower and curl. The lift/lower and curl/uncurl functions in a JD fight each other.
But both are great machines and have a fabulous dealer and parts network. I wouldn't go near any of the Korean sourced tractors (that's the great majority) and I'm not a fan of Mahindra.![]()

Supposedly it’s during regeneration for the diesel. I guess the venting keeps it slightly cooler. Another member here said the same thing.Never heard of such a thing. The single walled have a drain hole on the lip to drain water but a double wall does not need it. The pipe is not vented, why would a tip need to be? I am befungled……..non-sense!
Just get a quote from mark dodge, they gave me a price well under employee price.. talk to Sandi and tell her Ben Kremer told you to call.OK! I know this is a very long shot, but I have to ask so don't laugh. I know there has to be a few Members on this Forum who have the ability to purchase using Employee Pricing. I have a Family Member who worked for Chrysler but retired 20 years ago. He used one of his EP slots to purchase himself a new Van and told me he would set me up for his other available EP spot. Unfortunately he passed 4 months ago at the age of 92. He was my Step Dad. What I'm essentially asking is there anyone on the Forum who just purchased their new truck and would be willing to allow me to use one of their Employee Pricing slots? I know I'll have to provide some personal information but we can do this via email. Can't blame a guy for trying at the prices for these trucks now-a-days.....
They are good for 1 year, Jan 1st to December 31st.That is correct. I know he put me in the system back in 2020 but I don't think that is still available today.. Not sure how long it's good for.
