2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I see a lot of post from people that ordered trucks as far back as May or June that are still waiting for delivery. Is there a pattern here that either certain models, or is it particular dealerships, that tend to be slower to receive a truck? I ordered mine, 2500 Laramie CC 6.7, on October 9th and was told last week it was in D1 status. Ordered from Dave Smith in Kellogg, ID.

Finally back to reality after 11 days in Baja for the Baja 1000. 40 pages of updates since I left! I am not going to go back and read all of the 40 pages, so I hope that a bunch of you got your trucks in the past 11 days!!! As for me, this is day number 200 since my order on May 7. I was hopeful that @brv10 was right and that I would come back to a build sheet, but that didnt happen. My last POC had a ship date of 11/24. I highly doubt that will happen, but I can dream that might be my build date??????

Thanks for all the info on the bridge. Sounds like a great place to be far enough away from to say "What was that place?"
I dont know about that - while I dont like the I-10 corridor, I have had just as bad on much wider highways up north going east to west - think I-80 south of Chicago

I-10 is one reason I'm running 90% back roads. Leaving West Tn, and only on Interstates from Natchez Trace west of Jackson Ms to right over in La on I20 To Tallulah Then turning south to Alexandria La on south to I-10 just east of Lake Charles. Will take us 55 minutes longer, but 35 miles shorter. Being were only making it to Alexandria LA the first day. Then 2 hours to Mark Dodge, then turn and come back to Vicksburg ms for the second night. As you can see were in no rush. Just enjoying the ride.
Also Set the Cruise on 50 MPH from Tupelo Ms to west of Jackson Ms. most times never slow down. Just relax and enjoy the parkway. I for one wish that road ran everywhere we were going. May be 50 MPH, but not slowing or stopping or turning. Priceless!

Thank you. The way my fleet orders work is I don't have access to a vin until it ships. I found out last week that the truck was already sitting at the port in Benicia CA. Today was the first time I was able to see the window sticker. I did not know if ODS wanted to add it to the list for any reason. It has been 9 months since my original order and I kind of feel like I'm having another baby! At least I wont need to pay for collage for this one, just fuel, witch works out to be about the same.......

Providing an update on my truck after 750 miles and almost 2 months:

Dealing with Mark Dodge was a breeze. It was just as simple as buying a truck from the high-volume dealerships in TX (or how it used to be). Drove there, they had the truck pulled out front, went for a test drive, did a walk-around, signed the dotted lines, and gave them the check. Jason, the finance guy, was kind of a pain, but Aaron was able to clear every single thing up for me. Their lot is loaded with internet orders. It is a huge lot, and was jam packed with Jeeps, Rams, and Chrysler cars. Aaron worked with my local dealer to get the minor issues fixed immediately.

Haven't been able to drive it much because I have been out of town working, but these were issues/observations after my small amount of driving:
1) Paint around Rambox locks was flaked up. Seemed like whoever put the locks in tightened them down too much. Aaron got my local dealership to touch it up
2) I wish Mark Dodge would offer ceramic coating/wrap when buying. Picked up some chips in my bumper on the 200mi trip back home. Was fixed by local dealership
3) Oh sh*t handle bolt cover wasn't pushed in all of the way. I tried, but it wouldn't budge. Local dealer also corrected at Aaron's request
4) Alignment was off from the factory. Fixed by local dealership
5) Mark Dodge needs to lower shipping tire pressures after delivery. Driving home was almost unsafe with the tires at 90psi. Let Aaron know about this

6) I wish the 60/40 rear bench sections were swapped. Can't get the dogs and baby in while having my seat in the position I like
7) Transforce tires absolutely suck. It feels like the truck is floating around on the road. Also had to hammer down just to get out of a wet, sloped grassy spot
8) Hemi with 4.10s is much more peppy than people make it sound. I am also getting 13.4mpg going 90 on the interstate. Not much power at higher rpms, but up to about 3500 is great
9) Steering wheels needs to be able to move back and forth
10) Making the passenger mirror flat is a stupid idea. It creates an unsafe blind spot. I have almost gotten over on people several times
11) Interior ambient light above wood longhorn trim on passenger side can be seen in passenger side window at night...all of the time
12} Need to make power side steps available with smaller radio. It is idiotic that this isn't an option. Amp steps were a PITA to put on
13) The N95 and exterior filter for the A/C works very well. Drove by two landfills after Ida and couldn't smell a thing
14) Engine does tick when cold. Goes away when warmed up. Has exhaust leak sound that so many other people complain about

LOL come down here and we'll teach you how to pronounce them all. If youre advanced you can try tchoupitoulas.
Haha. I remember during Katrina, we had Army guard guys from somewhere NW come down and they would just call Tchoupitoulas ST in NO, T-Street. Ha.

Got build sheet and window sticker yesterday.
I live in Kansas City, MO.
Does anyone know the average time it takes to get to dealer?
Ram Chat est is around 3rd week of December.
Does that sound reasonable?
VIN: 3C63R3EJ3NG116809
Thanks in advance.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.

What dealer did you go with? I'm over in Lawrence so not far from you.

Thanks for taking the time to write a nice detailed review - but you got me concerned about paint chips on bumper. I had a 2015 2500 Limited with painted bumper and never noticed any chips - did they change the paint process or was I just not noticing on a Granite colored bumper? (I did notice when dealer's tech misjudged distance and scuffed corner).
So tell me about Ceramic coating options / pros/cons, best potential sources Southeast Louisiana.
