Port allen to lake charles is a good 2.5 to 3 hours if not a bit more

124 miles sure would not take 3+ hours? Now the 2 hours I understand is without traffic holdups. But driving the speed limit it was under 2 hours last trip I did across there.

Buddy of mine drove by the yard in port allen the other day and he said its packed. We get most of our tahoes and silverados delivered thru port allen. Def a major hub for all vehicles coming thru.

Do you work for a GM dealer? I want to order Yukon XL for my wife. PM me if you work for one.
Thanks.

So what trucks go though Port Allen? Is it by ship? RO/RO's to be specific.
I know a coupe Baton Rouge ship pilots and it would be cool to track a couple Ram trucks if I had the means.
Port Allen Rail Depot - must be a half a dozen trains with at least one car loaded with trucks for Port Allen since Nov 1 if you have been following - seems like a lot of them for Mark Dodge, but mine is there waiting to go to Bergeron in New Orleans and no doubt others to south Louisiana

$94 when i looked last week for next week. Then got the email and they're $419 all this week and next and the week after that... I was pissed but I didn't hesitate lol, just didn't bring the kids!
Thanksgiving travel - busiest travel time of year - planes, trains etc full to capacity pre Covid - now less flights, supply and demand.

Traffic stopped on bridge 3 hrs last week when wife driving that stretch of I-10. Have seen that bridge shut down for over a day with bad wreck. Be happy with anything 3 hr or less.

Welp, another week, another RamChat:

Thank you so much for holding. I am showing that your order is in the scheduling phase of the manufacturing process. The parts required to build the vehicle are being scheduled and as soon as they available and ready, order will be scheduled for build.

6/21 order. 2500 Limited MegaCab Hemi

Holding on to a shred of hope that the truck is built week of 11/21 like Sandi told me over a month ago.

I drive it a lot and its rarely 2 hours from lake charles to baton rouge. I hate driving in the state to my east.

More like 2 hours Baton Rouge to Lake Charles unless there is an issue on the Atchafalaya Basin bridge…

ive done BR to lake charles in as little as 1.5 and as long as 5. Plenty of variables with traffic. I live outside baton rouge in denham and used to work as a regional manager for a tire place that had stores in Lake Charles, Sulphur, Eunice and BR. Id drive to Lake Chuck and back every other week.
