Whats he got to be there for? I’d be there when the doors open Monday to pick up my belongings. To heck with him….

1. The Dealers are apparently responsible for doing a presale check on the relay recall on vehicles shipped after the recall
2. If recheck fails, Dealer gets to replace relay when available
3. I believe there is a Smog issue that EPA has temporarily waived to allow vehicles to be shipped with subsequent Dealer repair

I agree I would not expect dealers to do a major rework taking truck apart to install chip or parts in dash for example

But I see no reason not to ship without TTPMS sensors or a Trailer mounted Camera to be delivered at a later date - they are in separate pkg for customer to install on trailer, not dealer install on truck

Is anyone having U5 problems with the 12” anymore after this update?

Since they stopped offering it on Laramies i wonder if that may have been the delay on mine. i ordered a laramie level B, Hemi, with tow tech and power side steps. Ordered June 19th. Was just told last week that all parts have been received and im now scheduled to be built. At this point even if its built next week i doubt i see it by the end of the year.

Being your order date is in June you will have all the options as ordered. I do believe my order was held up for weeks because of parts. Not that I pissed anyone off. I work for Stellantis and pulled a lot of chain to have my truck pulled ahead and even changed my order when my truck was in D1 status. (added Safety Group B). The plant will do what whatever is required to keep the systems full, and send completed trucks out of the building. My truck sat in JS status for weeks. I hope to have it by 11-25.

I guess mine came after this update, I've had it 9 days now. But what I have seen in my UC5 12 inch is once in a while I'll hit the starter button to accessories (no foot on brakes) and the Radio sort of lights up black, no display images and no sound or function. I'll have to cycle back to off, open the door, wait at least a minute and close the door and try again.

It's not yet happened with foot in the brake and hitting the actual starter cycle, but I've only gotten 170 miles on it. I daily drive my 2004 Grand Prix GT... the road salt beater.

Those really look great. But after spending 88K on a truck and having a 65K trailer on order, I might be pushing the other halves button a little to far. Maybe when the tires wear out I can convince her the tires have to have new wheels to work properly. She is a blonde!!!!

Here ya go as promised....dealer was great and didn't even try to raise the price....HO w/4.10's....this thing is smooth and quiet....had a smile on my face all the way to the tint shop where it's getting a full nose cone clear bra....ceramic tint and ceramic coating....rust proof and undercoating after that.....

Edit: the fuses not being pushed in all the way is real! Make sure you fellas and ladies do it...

I did my one check today for a sticker/updated status. I was let down man...... I got issues, I got problems with this internet thing. The only cure would be my new rig in the driveway.... You got anymore of them hopes and dreams of ownership laying around? Where are all the missing stickers RAM? RAM - the dealer with the stuff holding out on the users man! I need a fix! :D

Wait until it’s built and it’s awaiting a rail car or boat. You’re gonna loose your mind. It’s probably worse than the dreaded “D” stage

Oh the dreaded big D and I don’t mean Dallas. I was D1 and Ramshat told me yesterday “they are gathering parts“, I’m just gonna sit back and wait again….

Salespeople I have dealt with in the past, will come in on their day off to give you your truck. Especially if you've been waiting this long for it. Just good business.

I’ve got one coming to Starr as well. 2500 Regular cab Hemi Tradesman - Can you confirm that the AAU safety group includes the ever elusive BSM and GP1 power folding mirrors? I ordered 8/28 and went to D1 last weekend.

Congratulations on the new pickup by the way and hope they treated you decent. No complaints on my end at this point.

Great looking rig! Hat airport did you fly in to? I’m considering having them meet me in New Orleand as it saves me a couple of hours driving back to Florida.

Maybe ask ALL of the recent members on this forum that received their truck to check and see if they have the 12 Pin connector on the bumper of their truck. I'm talking everyone....mainly the ones without the trailer camera option.....I really think its the new standard on ALL 2022 Ram HD trucks as they are doing away with the old 4 pin connector in its place....since it's so easy to use a 7 way connector to a 4 Pin if needed.
