2022 HD Crowdsourced VIN/Order Tracking

Tonight's analysis of Spreadsheet Data - why not - I'm bored

Just to be clear - this is an analysis of TRUCK TRIM AND CONFIGURATION POPULARITY BY % OF THE ORDERS - IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TRUCKS BUILT

2500 = 300/586 = 51%

3500 = 279/586 = 48% (Surprise)
Other (ChassiCab, 4500, 5500) = 7/586 = 1%

3500 SRW = 180/586 = 31% (Surprise)
3500 DRW = 99/586 = 17%

Crew Cabs = 413/586 = 70.5%
Mega Cabs = 158/586 = 27%
Reg Cabs = 7/586 = 1%
Chassis Cabs = 8/586 = 1%

Limited = 142/586 = 14%
Longhorn = 63/586 = 11%
Laramie = 224/586 = 38%
BigHorn = 94/586 = 16%
Power Wagon = 19/586 = 3%
Tradesman = 41/586 = 7%
SLT = 3/586 = 0.5%

Hemi = 139/586 = 24%
SO Diesel = 259/586 = 44%
HO Diesel = 188/586 = 32%

I have come to the unfortunate conclusion that the stars would need to align to have any hope of getting 3C63R3SL9NG115508/ 6-19 order this year.

The likely situation for many of us that have not made D1 yet.

Lame.

Looked some more: the max steel is still on the 2021 build option but not 22. If this happens to be the hold up in my order i will be non plused x10.

I don't think the 2021's are being built any longer. Have you checked with your dealership to see if you are being offered a 2022? If so you may need to make another color selection. Just a thought.... Might move you to the head of the line.....

Agree - the 2021 Build site is probably obsolete except for reference. They seem to be finishing some 2021s that were held up for parts - I know of several dealers who have just received 2021s or have 2021s "In Transit", but I dont think anyone has been able to order a 2021 for months. If its not listed on the Mopar 2022 Build Site, its probably not CURRENTLY available

If I'm reading this correctly, Laramie 2500 Crew Cab Diesel trucks are the ones making it down the line....... It's probably why the lots were full of these during the 2021 model year at an average cost of $75,000.00 each. The 2500 Big Horn Crew Cab with 6.4L Gas was extremely popular in 2020/2021. People were buying them as soon as they hit the lot.

we ordered Maximum Steel as well. We have finally moved to D1 and have a potential ship date of 12/2. So I can only hope we actually get maximum steel. Lol

Actually the Analysis was only for Trucks Ordered, NOT Trucks Built. Clearly the winner in terms of Popularity is the Laramie Crew Cab Diesel.

But if you look at those Built in first 3 months worth of orders, the Longhorns are doing the best (percent of those ordered that are built), then the Limiteds, and maybe the Power Wagons (but there arent that many on order) - all better than the Laramies.

How did you come to the conclusion you're in D1 status? Your VIN# doesn't populate with an equipment list yet however, you mention you have a potential ship date of 12/2. Trying to figure all this mess out.... lol

The dealer is the best source of info on build status.

My sales guy gave me the update. Ram chat told me that they had all equipment and will start build process soon and I got an email from Ram stating the same
