2022 HD Crowdsourced VIN/Order Tracking

My sales guy gave me the update. Ram chat told me that they had all equipment and will start build process soon and I got an email from Ram stating the same
Gotcha! We have a Source Document I believed is maintained by OfficerDirtySanchez (and he does an excellent job keeping this list populated with input provided by Members), a Link to a site where you can type in your VIN# to see if the Equipment List populates and another Link to see when the Window Sticker populates, yet seems these links maybe don't actually work accordingly? Then I'm told your dealership has the most updated information, but the dealership can't answer my questions without contacting FCA. I emailed RAMchat, but according to their site they can't provide updated vehicle build status. They're there to answer questions from a Customer Support aspect regarding problems you are experiencing with your currently owned vehicle or how to use/program equipment associated with your currently owned truck. Yet I see many members stating they received RAMchat emails regarding updates to their current builds. What am I missing?

Agree - the 2021 Build site is probably obsolete except for reference. They seem to be finishing some 2021s that were held up for parts - I know of several dealers who have just received 2021s or have 2021s "In Transit", but I dont think anyone has been able to order a 2021 for months. If its not listed on the Mopar 2022 Build Site, its probably not CURRENTLY available
My order is a 22. The 21 check was to confirm someone made the effort to remove the option. In the transition to 22 web content.

we ordered Maximum Steel as well. We have finally moved to D1 and have a potential ship date of 12/2. So I can only hope we actually get maximum steel. Lol
the sad part is, my 2018 2500 slt cc hemi 4x4 is maximum steel. when i ordered the 2022 2500 bighorn cummins mega cab 4x4 on 6/25 i wanted the obnoxiously bright utility orange. dealer suggested that the low volume color would hold the truck up for months, so i chose to stay with the same color. over 4vmonths in now, i guess i should have stuck with the orange.
as of 10/29 my truck is in d1 with expected ship date of 11/18. at this point, im not holding my breath it gets built this week as jeff at ramchat told me.

Dear FCA,
if by some (fat)chance you are listening, though i know you arent, if the Maximum Steel color is all that holds up my current order, please change it to the Patriot Blue and ship my truck!

Cant blame a guy for trying!
Good luck with that - more likely it would need to have paperwork changed thru Dealer and Regional Rep and Factory and would put you to back of que and slow you down - at least that would happen to me. It cost me a week to get OK to add TowMode Camera pkg but I was Ok with that.

yeah, i know its a Hail Mary pass at this point, my luck just doesnt run that way either. nothing to lose i guess.

Money....money is to lose. If prices have changed since you placed your order and they approve a change request the change and the price changes. A $100 option could end up costing thousands due to this.

We live in the 21st Century where everything is automated, yet we know less today than we knew yesterday. I remember when I could dial 50 different phone numbers by heart, now I have to look at my phone to call my boss.... lol You would think the Big Three could look at a screen and tell you your headlights are currently being installed. Computers have ruined more than they have helped....

heh, costs me nothing if they never actually build the truck. just venting my frustration out loud so to speak.

How very true!

looks like we are in the same boat.
Dealer said tentative build day is Jan 6th. Not sure how I would have a build date without D1. Status

Aggressive 5 week delivery assumption would be Feb 13th and equal 219 days from order. Yeah, yeah supply chain. Not buying it.

I just added my VIN# to the Ram HD Order Tracking spreadsheet. It's line #590.
Does the sheet update information periodically to populate fields like D1 Date, Ship Date, etc? If not, how does one get data entered into those fields?

Thanks for adding your order @JimKIII.

Since I've been getting the question a lot, I added some info in the FAQs on page #1. TL;DR: I check regularly for all the equipment listings and window stickers. But all the other info comes from members comments/emails/PMs/etc.
