2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

When you get the truck....physically check the rear bumper plug for the 12 pin connector that powers the Trailer Camera....if it has then its an easy fix with the wiring and camera can be purchased as an accessory. It seems that most trucks that don't order this option still have the wiring on the truck side....and the old 4 pin connector is gone with the 12 pin replacing it.
Understood thanks Dealer says they can add of coarse more cost incurred Thanks

05/07 3500 Laramie CC SRW loaded order. My POC finally updated last week after zero movement since order, and shows an estimated ship date of 11/24. Last week, RAMCHAT said parts were all ready and would be entering build date soon. Today, RAMCHAT says still gathering parts. Our insider shows a build date 2 weeks after a ship date (dates back in October btw). Lol. Heading to Mexico tomorrow for 10 days to participate in the Baja 1000. Won’t have cell coverage for a few days, and hoping for a miracle build sheet while I am out of contact. Fingers crossed!
You will have a truck built when you come back, I feel it, have fun and be safe! Say Hi to Larry Roeseler!
Missing Trailer Surround View Camera its not on either Equipment list or Window sticker so doesn't seem to be a type-o. Not the end of the world stuff but its my last big towing truck
Yes that's the plan this sit has been very helpful great info. by all wished I would have found before ordering and yes RAM_Dad is correct shame on me for not having PP in writing!
Is it in the towing tech group B?

Ram Chat strikes again. Thought I had my case escalated several days ago due to my truck sitting for a month awaiting for to be shipped. Checked yesterday and I was told that it wasn't. Person I chatted with said they will make sure it will be escalated and someone will be in touch in a day or two.

So I checked again just a few moments ago and got something a bit different and at least some sort of traction. At least now I have an ETA. Didn't have one for the longest time.

Amber (11/11/2021, 11:35:17 AM): I can see your order has been released from the factory and was approved for shipping. Shipping arrangements have not been completed yet but it should be leaving soon! We do still have the ETA window of 11/23/2021 - 12/06/2021!
Me (11/11/2021, 11:36:08 AM): Yes, I know that. It's been in that status for a month. My case was escalated yesterday and I'd like to know if anything has been done regarding that.
Me (11/11/2021, 11:37:38 AM): Does that mean it is in the process of being shipped? Meaning the case is being worked?
Amber (11/11/2021, 11:38:28 AM): I can see we do have a case open with our ordering team, there is no additional information at this time but they have scheduled a follow up for 11/11 - 11/12 so you will be receiving an email from them wither today or tomorrow
Me (11/11/2021, 11:38:53 AM): Ok thanks. I'll be waiting to hear from them.
Amber (11/11/2021, 11:39:14 AM): You're very welcome, Edward! Have a nice rest of your day!
Me (11/11/2021, 11:39:23 AM): You too. Thx again.

It appears Dealer or Computer sets a Priority when order placed - my POC says "Build Priority 01" at bottom - not sure if this really means anything to scheduler - as pointed out parts availability probably has more effect.
But my Equipment List also says "Sold Vehicle" and just below that "Special Scheduling Condition VII" - not sure what that means either, but my truck was totaled by Hurricane Ida and dealer said they would try to expedite (again whatever that means)
Wondering if some of earlier orders placed long before 2022 production started may have had a lower priority set by dealer or computer knowing they would be lower priority than 2021s still fighting for parts for completion and there would be no movement for 2 to 3 months?
I ordered through my company using Enterprise Fleet Management. As you can see in my signature I continue to wait. I have come to the conclusion that trucks ordered through fleet are at the bottom of the priority list.

If I remember correctly, the TRUCK Surround View is part of Trailer Tech, but the TRAILER Surround View is a separate item

Anyone know the reason why people who ordered after me ( MC limited longhorn ) are getting their trucks built but mine isn't?? Does where you live play a part??
Most likely parts and availability. I think it’s more like random lottery drawing. I ordered Oct 5 and trucks are going D1 in front of me. I am glad to see they are prioritizing the earlier builds.. I do feel for the guys that ordered June and July and still d status. I think they are building inventory orders for dealers also.

Let’s see that Baja rig!

Of the 20 May orders with No Equipment List (11/11/21) - looks pretty random to me except that 8 Limiteds, 6 Longhorns, and 2 Power Wagons have Equipment Lists - insufficient data to address BSM or Sunroof as cause - both BSM and No BSM, Both SR and No SR represented

12 x 2500
3 BigHorn Crew Cab
2 Diesel, 1 Gas

5 Laramie Crew Cab all SO Diesel

3 Laramie MegaCab
1 Diesel, 2 Gas

1 Tradesman CrewCab Gas

6 x 3500 SRW
1 BigHorn Crew Cab HO

3 Laramie Crew Cab
2 SO Diesel, 1 HO

1 Laramie MegaCab SO Diesel

Same. No idea what it could be. There’s been recent orders that have had the options on them, but in different configs. I know mine has sunroof, power steps, safety, towing, ttpms, trailer surround, and 12” radio. Supposedly they have all the parts for the build.

It’ll get here when it gets here, just a big question mark on the delay in scheduling.

Mine Shows "Scheduling Priority: 1-Sold Order" But I am still sitting in BG after one month

At this stage of the game, I can't imagine that it is a parts issue. I think there have been several fully loaded trucks built in each of those trim levels. Is it possible that it has something to do with the final rail destination for each of those trucks?

Roger. I'll hit up my salesman to see if he can figure anything out.

Thanks for the cryptostickers heads up. Seems like a pretty useful site once I get my VIN and understand how to use it! I'll keep the thread updated with my build progress.
new here.. RAM chat says my order has been "sequenced." should it have a production date in that case? ordered 9/8/21

Mine says "Build Priority 99":(
