Just weighed her today with a full tank 55 gallons of fuel and 180lb driver. Also, added these mods which the weight has added up quick, definitely surprised me a bit when I got the actual axle weights from the CAT scale:
Titan 55 gallon tank
Hellwig rear sway bar
Air Lift XL7500 air springs with air lift compressor
Ram tube side steps
Peragon aluminum bed cover.

The duallys are heavy! Mine weighed 8990 on the local truck scale. Mega cab Laramie HO/Aisin DRW.

Okay, finally found a 2500 Limited near me that I could drive and view the payload sticker. The news is just awful; 1,990 lb payload.

2019 RAM 2500 SRW 4x4 Limited Crew Cab 6"4" Bed
+Delmonico Red, $100
+Towing Tech Grp, $445
+Protection Group, $95
+5th Whl/Gooseneck Towing Prep, $445
+Body Color Bumper, $395
+Limited Level 1 Group, $2,995
+Anti-Spin Differential Rear Axle, $445
+6.7L I6 Cummins Turbo Diesel, $9,100
+Power Sunroof, $1,095
-RamBox Delete, -$490

MSRP: $80,520

With our trailer's GVWR of 11,000 and 1,600 hitch weight, there doesn't appear to be any way a 2500 Limited is going to work for us as we'd only have 390 lbs of payload remaining. While we don't need the 5th Wheel / Gooseneck Towing Prep, we would like the RamBox, extra alternator, auto level air suspension, and deployable bed step. Does anyone know the weight of the sunroof or 5th Wheel / Gooseneck Towing Prep?

It's looking like if we're going to get a RAM, it'll have to be a 3500.

You need a 3500 for payload

Yep. Just traded my 2019 6.4L 2500 with 2900 payload for a 2021 3500 dually with beast mode payload. Now I don't need to be concerned with my fifth wheel and what it weighs.

Do you have the bucket seats? We don't so we don't have that full center console.
Lol, that may just be it as we do have the bucket seats

I ended up doing a 2020 3500 SRW 4x4 and I’ve been happy with it. 23k tow, 4500 bed if I recall. I have it posted on here.

Got her home today, ‘21 Tradesman CCSB, Hemi, 4x4

I am waiting for my new 3500DRW to be delivered. Received the VIN# yesterday and put it into the Ram specific tow capacity site. I was surprised that my payload will only be 4847lbs. I am assuming that includes all the options including the 5th wheel hitch, steps, spray in bed liner, 50 gallon tank etc? In a way it should be more accurate then my current truck which is a 3500SRW with a yellow tag of 4100. I've put in a 5th wheel hitch, steps, tonneau cover etc. so it is probably more like 3700. Has anyone else had those options installed by the manufacturer and realized a smaller payload?

I will still be well within my limits with my 5th wheel, just a little surprised!

Yes. Since you got them from the factory they are included in determining your payload.

The 50 gallon tank is considered full when you figure payload. So that 18 gallons takes away also, with the added weight of the tank and mounting hardware.

I heard some where on this forum that the 50 gallon tank when full is definitely counted towards payload but the 5th hitch is not because its removeable.... can anyone confirm this?

My fifth wheel hitch is included in the payload, if it’s a factory installed item it will be included.
