What did you do TO your RAM today?

In preparation for the arrival of my 22 Delmonico Night Edition mega cab, Bronze decals arrived to go with the bronze methods that will go on the truck immediately once its in. Only 1-3 more weeks until its supposed to be at the dealer!View attachment 24969
I like the bronze with the Delmonico Red Pearl. I think it's a good combo.

Realized I posted in wrong spot.

Added the Baja fog lamp swap before it heads out to Michigan to AEV.

Not anything done to my Ram but For my Ram

Converting my dump trailer to adjustable 5thwheel from a fixed terrible hight 5thwheel , can also use for GN too

It always sat terribly nose high and if i had air in my bags on the hitch (3” of lift) it was lifting the front axle off the ground so i gathered some old material drops from around the shop to change it

Here is a bad picture but just what i started with

Drilled some adjustment holes 8” worth of adjustment View attachment 24963

Cut off the old king pin and turned it down to a 10” plate from the large square 14x12 plate it was and tacked it on

Here is the tacked up assembly 49” lowest setting

Here is still just tacked but how it sits The trailer was on higher ground thats why it looks nose low but on the shop floor it was 1” nose high so when loaded it would be level

Why not convert to gooseneck? Not trying to pick at it, just curious. All my gooseneck trailers have a similar adjustment on the hitch.

Has anyone powder coated a toolbox to match the RV Walnut Brown on the Limited Longhorns? The powder coat guy I spoke with said that it is a hard color to match. Beaver Bronze is what Prismatic Powders says is the match, but apparently it isn't perfect. Anyone have suggestions? Should I just paint the toolbox (RKI Crossover) instead? Switched my tonneau order from Bak Revolver X4s to the Retrax ProXR aluminum. I will have it in 10 days (unlike the previously ordered) and will be ordering a Yakima rack and cross bars that use the tonneau's T-Slot to attach. I am super happy I researched more and found out how much more function the Retrax will have for me. Being able to stop the cover and lock it at any spot over the bed, the endless mounting solutions that the T-Rack system allows, the one handed and easy slide open instead of rolling all the way up just to name a couple things that sold me.

I plan on using the cross bars on the Yakima rack on the side of the bed like the attached picture for traction boards and Rotopax fuel and water mounting. So many options and the ease of just taking off the rack entirely within 5 minutes using the T-slots makes it an easy decision as I am not a fan of forever rolling around with a rack if not in use. Plus because if the wait I have already dealt with from the Bak Revolver cover, the dealership is paying every penny of the Retrax even though it is more expensive.

I love my Retrax! Super easy to use and you can mount just about anything to it.PSX_20211019_154814.jpg
