2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I have them on my Limited as well. Been in D1 since 7 Oct, supposedly build is scheduled for 8 Nov with a ship date of 10 Nov. Just the ups and downs of a jacked up tracking/selection process RAM runs. I see more and more lower optioned trucks arriving at local dealers. To say I am disappointed in movement is an understatement but at the same time its good to see movement on the earlier orders. The later orders that have been built and shipped just add salt to the wounds. I am pretty sure this will be my last "order" through RAM. I say that with a heavy heart given I have had 6+ RAM trucks over the years. This one will last or be replaced by a GMC in the future. Again, if you know me its very hard for me to say that I plan on jumping ship if needed in the future. These trucks are awesome but when you tell the customer 100% the priority is SOLD orders yet dealer stock is being delivered everywhere, you are just penalizing the brand followers. Example of "In-Transit" Dealer stock versus SOLD order in D1
All dealers mark them as in transit once they place their order. What should piss us off is the actual truck sitting on the lots around the country that have the exact same options as people who have placed orders and not received them. The manufacturer should at least let the person who ordered know what particular item is causing their delay and let the customer decide whether to wait for that specific thing or just go ahead and build the truck. Obviously there are some things that do not work that way but if they have regular side steps instead of wheel to wheel then someone may say that doesn’t really matter to them and would choose to just get their truck. Or if a bedliner is the hold up then I know I would say send me the truck I’ll get one locally I guess my rant is RAM has dropped the ball on customer service even though these are hard times communication goes a long way and ram chat is what they put in place for communication and that is a jokr

I’ve only seen Limited’s deliver to the dealer with power running boards. I do have them as an option on my Laramie that I ordered over 4 months ago. I do have a 11/10 estimated ship date but I also have a lot of other options that could cause delays.
Looks like ours will (should) be built together. I’m also scheduled for shipping on the 10th and have a heavily optioned Laramie with power running boards.

True, I got the priority case # which really means nothing. They pretend to prioritize your order but really all they do is send periodic standard emails that give you status that you already know. I got one after mine was built saying it was entering the build stage. Then got one after it was shipped saying I was entering the shipping stage. So I guess late next week after I already get my truck, I will get an email giving me an estimated arrival date LOL
Yes, Cara and Jeff, Crafty Automated Response Application, and Just Enough False Figures.

Maybe everyone should fill out the survey at the end of ramchat and tell them ramchat should have the same visability as dealers.

Everyone on my dealers website all show window stickers for in transit. So I would have to disagree in my case.

Maybe other dealers do that.

Dang I stand corrected then. You just made my day even worse knowing that. I know I am a young order compared to others on here but some of the trucks in transit that I have seen have vins after mine

Here's a thread to discuss your new 2022 Truck orders.

Please stay on topic. OT discussions of significance may be moved to a new thread or deleted.

  • 2022 Build and Price: Site is now online (October 21)Nobody knows when the web site will be updated

Due to complaints and until further notice, dealers now need to create a new thread for their dealership if they wish to conduct business in the forums.

Please don't poach in the Sticky Builds and Orders discussion threads. Dealers may create one post here with a link to their thread if desired. Answering member questions on options is OK but don't discuss your private deals here in this thread.

Dealers are required to contact site staff before conducting business ("Advertising") in the forums. TOS and Site Rules have not changed but have been clarified.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

Resources: Build Codes, links to build sheet, Monroney (window sticker), etc.

Member @OfficerDirtySanchez has created a Crowd Sourced Order tracking document if you wish to participate. HE maintains the data, not the admin or staff @HDRAMS.COM

Please carry on conversations related to that document in that thread.

That tracking sheet is a joke

Is there any 'average' length to how long it takes to go from build to shipped? I was told yesterday my truck was at the body vendor (so I assume JB) and then this morning that it was all completed and waiting on shipping but no ETA yet. So now I assume I am in JS since I have no window sticker yet. I'm hoping against hope this truck makes it to Mark Dodge by Nov 15 as my wife will already be down in Houston and could drive it back home. That would be a miracle if it happened since I doubt it will get there that quick, but I have no idea what average times are at this stage. Maybe there is no average or normal...
Don’t believe anything unless you have a direct factory rep contact. Its all BS

My order is also scheduled to be shipped on the 10th. I think the ttpms has been holding it back from being built. I tried to order an extra two sensors from dealer and they said they are not available to order.

@MegaStro , just think about it....You are in D1. According to @brv10 , I'm still in D for my Mega hemi ordered a few days before you. So not all bad, right?
I feel lucky to be where I am, still does not make up for the lack of clarity, information, or tracking ability provided by Ram on a sold order. I hope to see all the Megacabs built soon. Dealers can only do so much to get information. When they say sold takes priority and you see dealer stock moving out, that's just crappy business. Call it bad timing or whatever you want to call it.
