2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Mines been in D for over 4 months. You mention power running boards. I wonder if thats the hold up on mine. Laramie level b with power boards. Has anyone seen many power running boards being delivered?
Mine has power running boards and was just built either yesterday or day before.

Is there any 'average' length to how long it takes to go from build to shipped? I was told yesterday my truck was at the body vendor (so I assume JB) and then this morning that it was all completed and waiting on shipping but no ETA yet. So now I assume I am in JS since I have no window sticker yet. I'm hoping against hope this truck makes it to Mark Dodge by Nov 15 as my wife will already be down in Houston and could drive it back home. That would be a miracle if it happened since I doubt it will get there that quick, but I have no idea what average times are at this stage. Maybe there is no average or normal...

Not to state the obvious but....every Limited has them standard....unless when ordered you opt out and get a fixed flat running boards.

Until you get a window sticker there's no way to know if you're complete or not. Not sure what the average is, but seems like most sit for about a week before they get moving on the train. It's still at least 2 weeks to get to Mark Dodge even best case scenario, so unfortunately I'd say Nov 15 arrival is out of the realm of possible at this point.

I know the Limited has them. Not sure how many of those have been built. Weird is looking at the ones that have been built after mine, they should have had all the parts for it at some point. I didnt think i ordered anything crazy special.

I’ve only seen Limited’s deliver to the dealer with power running boards. I do have them as an option on my Laramie that I ordered over 4 months ago. I do have a 11/10 estimated ship date but I also have a lot of other options that could cause delays.

Sounds like youre same boat as i am. i ordered June 19. only thing i added was the power running boards, 12" screen and tow tech package. i wish i could at least know the reason for the delay. i could delete the running boards and just add AMP when the truck comes in.

I have power running boards still in D1
I have them on my Limited as well. Been in D1 since 7 Oct, supposedly build is scheduled for 8 Nov with a ship date of 10 Nov. Just the ups and downs of a jacked up tracking/selection process RAM runs. I see more and more lower optioned trucks arriving at local dealers. To say I am disappointed in movement is an understatement but at the same time its good to see movement on the earlier orders. The later orders that have been built and shipped just add salt to the wounds. I am pretty sure this will be my last "order" through RAM. I say that with a heavy heart given I have had 6+ RAM trucks over the years. This one will last or be replaced by a GMC in the future. Again, if you know me its very hard for me to say that I plan on jumping ship if needed in the future. These trucks are awesome but when you tell the customer 100% the priority is SOLD orders yet dealer stock is being delivered everywhere, you are just penalizing the brand followers. Example of "In-Transit" Dealer stock versus SOLD order in D1

Here’s an article too.

"With some improvement in semiconductor availability in October, we do not expect U.S. inventory to reduce further," CFO Richard Palmer said during a conference call on the results. He predicted some dealer restocking in the final three months of the year.

Great…more dealer builds to push back sold orders.
