@brv10 do you know if its actually possible to cancel the Laramie order without the dealer being stuck with it later on? I ask because my dealer is a small dealer and he may not be able to sell the loaded Laramie. Thanks in advance.

No I don't, I just build protos.
 
Someone told me that your order gets build priority based on the ordering dealerships sales. Any truth to that. It does make sense on why some people ordering from mark dodge is getting theirs so fast.

Guess my Big Horn is just below those high dollar builds. LOL I did find that I was in D1 10/9. So less then a month with a build date of 11/6. But been told that is just a WAG. But I know it will be built before 2/30/

@Combra6589 I just read on a FB page that a service tech was told about the temporary fix for the Y76 recall. They take the relay out, clean it up, reinstall and seal it off. Not sure how true this is but it was a FCA recall page that posted it
 
Looks like a lot of units can me made in a short time... haha they could finish our excel sheet for members in hours based off #'s.

That's the fix if it passes the thermal test.

I ordered on 6/25 and am still in D status.

AutoBlog is reporting today that the relay fix will be provided to dealers on December 3rd, the same day that owners get notified of the fix. Hopefully this date isn't as fluid as their estimated build dates, lol. >>>> AutoBlog Article <<<<

Yes that’s if it passes the overheat test they do . It’s bs that the dealer won’t put a different one in to test that . It’s now up to engineering to come up with solution . Feb 22 is when the new relay will be available

You mean the engineers that are working from home and knew about this?
 
UGH! Was given a build date from my salesmen and wanted to verify it with Ram chat and got the " we can't give any information, like build codes, etc...only when it is ready for shipping." Not sure why I even want to deal with RAMs BS at this point. I just need a truck or somewhat of a realistic date. Sale guys know I am looking at Ford and GMC at this point. Yes, I am venting a bit.
Have a feeling I am still in D status and have no build date. If anyone can see and has the time, let me know. Here is the info. VON 50543188 , VIN 3C6UR5NL9NG156510

That and a fire aboout 3ft high, burns my butt up. Sad they had all this year to come up with the fix. But drag there tail. Until forced to fix it right. This time its a stick of gum and 3 band aids.

I would ask them to get the Ram rep on the phone while you are in the room with them. just my 2 cents
