Did the steps come on it or dealer installed if so what type?
They are the factory installed power steps. I wasn't sure I'd like them but I do. Lower step in (I had back surgery earlier this year) and the wife will like it too. And when you're moving they're tucked up out of the way.

Does it still have the CP3 (or CP ISB21)?

And congrats. That's a good looking truck! Kinda wishing I'd gotten the patriot blue over the Maximum Steel Metallic.
I'll put up a pic of the engine bay later. Pretty sure it's not the CP4, and that makes me happy.

You can buy a 7pin for the bed with the harness. I believe I got mine from etrailer.com You just need to drill the holes for it where the factory location is and run it between the fender bed walls. Very easy process. The harness plugs up to the back of the bumper 7 pin and Ys off of that to the bed. Tuck the rest of the harness away and you're G2G!

Yep they said the said the same thing, quote for the factory setup including labor was like $275 I think.

You have to click In the address bar and add your vin after the=
Yep but I keep getting the same. I wonder if it’s cuz I ordered just a week ago? I’m usually patient but I’ve wanted this for the last 2 years and I’m already salivating! AND I HAVE A 5 MONTH WAIT!!!

Picked up truck from Mark Dodge today. By far the best buying experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve had many, too many. From working with Sandi on the order, to docusigning all the docs before I arrived, to picking me up at the airport. Finance guys even found a better rate than I could find locally, much better. I was in and out with the truck in 10 minutes. Anyway thought I’d pass the word, would use them again without question. Highly recommend.
Yep that’s what I feel about Renae from Mark Dodge and I only ordered it on the 15th. Don’t know why the vast majority of auto dealers aren’t like that? Not to forget that their pricing is stellar! 5% under invoice! Renae says they aren’t on commission. If it continues like this when I pick up my truck in 5 months I’ll be the happiest camper in the country!

I agree, always hated going to a dealers lot. But doing it online, priceless and so easy. Will never go in to a dealer again to buy. Looking forward to Meeting Renae in person. She has went above and beyond what anyone local will do.

Latest and greatest from Ram Chat..

Amber (10/23/2021, 8:35:53 AM): I can see your order has been released from the factory and was approved for shipping. Shipping arrangements have not been completed yet but it should be leaving soon! There is no ETA listed but it should be generated in the coming days.
Woohoo!!! 169 days since order, and still hasn’t moved from D! Today is not the day…

Or buy and resale if you’re getting a good deal on it.
I’m seriously thinking about doing this. I need to do some maintenance on my current ‘16 3500 Laramie. Since there is no end in aight for me and the ‘22 3500 Laramie, been kicking around the idea of doing the maintenance and upgrades on my current ride and keeping it, then flipping the ‘22 if / when it ever comes in.

Thanks- I’ve literally read every page of this thread since joining and was still thinking window stickers popped close to when the vehicle was built. But then I’m a very slow learner so thanks for letting myself and others know.
You shouldn't have to wait too much longer. Mine was built awaiting shipment on 10/8 and got my window sticker 10/20.

Wow, woke up to a great email this morning from cryptostickers, I got my window sticker finally!! It shows that my build sheet is available as well but I cannot get it to pull up for some reason. Now the big question is how long will it take for it to ship to Mark Dodge? I'm thinking/ hoping that should go fairly quickly as they somewhat close and a high volume dealer with a lot of trucks constantly shipping there.

I was surprised to see it list the Off-Road Info Pages on the window sticker as I thought that was part of the off-road package only. I'm wondering if I will have it now because I went with the Snow Chief Group?
I’m in JS. Sandi at Mark Dodge told me there are only 5 truck drivers for all the dealers in LA to move from port to dealerships, so 3-4 weeks after it hits the port she thinks. Yikes.

You can now check on the government website to see if your diesel Ram truck is included in the recall. I checked my VIN yesterday and it said no recall. When I checked today the recall showed up. See below. Mine was built between 10/5/21 and 10/8/21 and shipped on 10/10/21. The website to go to is https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls

That’s what I’ve been doing with mine. I think mine just made the no recall. It was built 10/9

At least some of you are getting updates from your sales person. I have to send an email asking about a status update and get a short “I don’t really care” about your order response. Will be happy once this is over as I won’t order from him again

You are still D but all the shipping has populated, wierd.

At least you get that response! I went into my dealer 2 months ago because they were pulling some not so professional and sketchy things on me. Left the dealer with the salesman blocking my phone number I have to go thru my buddy that works there now or ram chat. But the real MVP is @brv10 for keeping me in the loop always

CP3, they changed it back, should have done that with the relay too
It’s actually a re-designed CP3. I think they call it CP3-H or something like that. Apparently it puts out the same pressures as the CP4.2 (to make the Government happy for emissions), but it’s in a CP3 like housing now
