2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Hey, maybe a job opportunity.......interested in moving to Mexico?
My uncle was the production parts manager for the GM facility in Arlington for decades. He had to make sure that they had everything to build each days production and minor delays could shut the line down. It was a job that made you want to pull your hair out. Managing vendors/suppliers was like herding cats. With all the current challenges I can only think it has gotten much worse!

Just got this back from Sandi...

We do work through Central Dispatch which is a large consort of transporters and we help all our customers arrange shipping. We actually discourage anyone from trying to pre-arrange as we can get the best pricing and we want to ensure that your order is accurate and in perfect condition before it ships. I don’t see why they couldn’t arrange shipping to Huachuca City AZ. You might ask the logistics specialist though if it might be less expensive to Tucson if that is an option for you…just thinking outside the box.

No need for you to be here, our team works with you virtually for the entire process. Zoom is often finances preferred delivery system with our customers. Our technicians also use zoom or video conferencing to help with feature process and set ups.

We really do appreciate our customers and do all we can to help make the process enjoyable! The wait is the toughest part.

Edit...She's still amazing!

I’m sure that the production has changed immensely since then. It’s all computer driven now based off just in time delivery. There ain’t a guy walking around checking out how many dashes they have in black.

Good to know. My truck is being shipped to Bud Clary CJDR in Moses Lake, WA. My first dealings with them but their pricing was almost on par with Lake Charles in LA. Be sure to post up when your truck lands at the dealer. I'm hoping the shipping phase is a month or less!
Has your truck shipped yet? And do you know if it will land in Spokane or Tacoma?

FWIW, this morning I built an Olive Green 2500 Laramie. About an hour ago the page refreshed and the Olive Green disappeared.

edit, in hindsight, this change may have been made a few days ago and i just refreshed.
Just noticed the same. I ordered my Olive green 3500 on 23 August and had it 30 September. Was VERY happy I was able to get that green.

She IS amazing! And the process itself is easy once your truck arrives. My wife and I finalized all the paperwork yesterday via Facetime and Docusign. All I have to do when I get there is take care of a few final things, look over the truck, and then I'm on the road. (As a bonus, they were able to undercut PenFed's interest rate and save us almost half a point. Practically free money.)

Hey guys question for ya. I just put a deposit down on a 22 Ram 3500 HO Dually Big Horn. It is in transit to my dealer, so haven't actually seen the truck. Just the window sticker and the build sheet. I am watching videos on the '22's and notice some have the dial gear selector, while most have the normal column shift.

Is the dial shift in an option package, or what? I am hoping I have the standard column shift.

Dial, 8 speed for Hemi. Column shifter, 6 spd for Cummins.

I just reached out to Sandi regarding this. She mentioned to me previously about driving it approx 300mi. to my location when I was in Texas. Now I'm in AZ for a bit, I just might have it shipped here. I've done this countless times with vehicles I purchased in the past. Don't see why this would be an issue. We are in a world with docusign and remote notaries. I just closed my home sale online 2 days ago and got my proceeds in my bank account the very next day. If anything paperwork can be overnighted.

People have been doing DocuSign on multimillion dollar deals since before the vid. Covi just made it more accepted by smaller organizations.

I haven't had my daily @brv10 status update cuz i didnt want to bother him. I would think it would go Spokane instead of Tacoma but i have no idea. brv10 may have more insight with what he can see. I'm not sure if its back from the body shop yet.

That’s what my original ship date was as well. Maybe ours is gonna be on the same train and truck!

Man I hope so! I tried finding the post from way back that I thought outlined the path our trucks would take to get to Our area but I can’t find it. Any idea what the timeframe is estimated to be once the train departs Saltillo? I know it’s a rough estimate given the current transport issues….

My guess is probably 3ish weeks once it leaves Mexico. Maybe longer though if it gets held up in the train yard in Lordstown.

Hey guys first post here, been reading past posts for awhile but now I have a question. I ordered a 22 Laramie night edition level a on 6/25. I got my vin 3c6ur5FL4NG116835 but when I call Ram chat they tell me that number isn’t in there data base and have no info on that vin. Has anyone heard of this? My dealer sent me my build sheet and that says it’s in D status. Starting to get frustrated after 4 months of waiting and not getting many answers. Any help would be great thanks!

What does your dealer say? He can check it out in the system to see what the current status is. Maybe try Ram Chat again...there are many inconsistencies with them.

When I called my dealer he said he didn’t know much about ram chat and he didn’t understand why it wouldn’t be showing up and he would have to call his rep about it. I tried calling Ram chat again today and they said same thing that it’s not in system.

In addition to what Cummins0867 suggested above, I would add calling ram customer service on the phone rather than the online chat. Call and speak to a real person and see what they can tell you. If they’re unhelpful or rude, end the call…wait ten minutes….and call back. I have gotten lucky enough to land a few phone calls there to the right people and they were extremely helpful. Actually quoted me status codes and shipping estimates (that were accurate I might add) rather than Ramchat that just gives you vague answers 90% of the time.

Mine has been in JS status since 9-14 with no ETA on shipping. It really seems there is no explanation for which vehicles they build, store or ship at this point.
There is an explanation, dealer orders are priority.

Nice, glad it worked out. I'd say for all of you who worked with Sandi, leave a nice review on the dealer page and specifically give her a shout out to let the owners know she's a hard worker. Got to take care of people who work hard for you now a days.

Both times I called Ram chat and spoke with people they both told me the same thing and both told me they had no more info for me and sorry they couldn’t help more. My current build sheet says D- firm schedule serial number is assigned.
