2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Yeah really it’s fine if it comes in spring after roads clear up from salt after the winter. I just know the ram rep told my dealer sunroof would make orders be 5-6 months and without 3-4 months so that’s what they showed me on a email from the rep. I’m excited to get it I’ve never ordered a truck before no matter how long it takes I just want it now lol. I have the wheels tires just waiting for it
That’s awesome! I like that you already have the wheels and tires for it. I haven’t ordered mine but I think I have them narrowed down.
For me the only way to get a vehicle is to special order them and get everything you may want. It’s also the way to get the best price. The big drawback is the wait but 5-6 months is way too long. They can take a row boat to China, get the chips and row back and still get the trucks to us before then!

What are you, a 4th grader? "My buddy wants me to raz him. He set me up with this guy on purpose because he knew I'd be on him. Especially since he wants me to."
That sounds just like a child explaining why he's bullying a kid.
Geez man... act like an adult.

FWIW, this morning I built an Olive Green 2500 Laramie. About an hour ago the page refreshed and the Olive Green disappeared.

edit, in hindsight, this change may have been made a few days ago and i just refreshed.

While we all wait forever our trucks, who wants a custom exhaust tip for them?

What's the inlet size incase the thing comes in with I don't know a 5 inch pipe.. and price?

I would

Niceeeeeee

We can make the inlet whatever it needs to be! Will be making a bunch of parts for these trucks when mine comes in

Please take this to the buy/sell/trade forum.

Posted in the Crowdsource thread but my truck arrived at Mark Dodge yesterday. Picking up next week then driving it the 1600 miles back home. Really a painless experience (and I was prepared for a lot of pain). That, combined with 12% under MSRP, makes the trip down and back completely worth it. Laramie 2500 6.4, ordered 7/28 - so three months from order to pick-up. Hope some of you early guys start to see yours soon!
CONGRATULATIONS!
My sentiments exactly. I also got ordered mine from them and I live in Colorado too so I get the 1600 mile drive back. I’m gonna make a vacation out of it. I’ve never been to Louisiana.
I too was prepared for a lot of pain and it was way too easy. Scary easy. The pain will be the 5 month wait!

Trying to get an order in now but wanted any insight on actual payload capacity. I know what the RAM website says but after you get the truck and have accessories added, the payload goes down.

I am looking at a gas, Mega 4 x 4 in Laramie (lots of options but no sunroof) or Limited. Can any of you check your door panel to see your actual payload capacity?

Thanks everyone.

So I went down to pull the trigger and place my order on a Hydro Blue Lonestar 2500. I noticed yesterday there were fewer colors on the build and price website. Today the dealer was not able to click on the color. Do any of you folks “in the know” have any information on the color? Is it discontinued or maybe a late availability?
TIA.

But is this a naked 2500 or a decked out one. For example, I know a spray in bed liner adds about 60 pounds. And I would imagine the air suspension adds weight too. All of this subtracts from the payload rating. So I am wondering what people have on their 2500, gas, Mega 4 x 4s in real life. I think it is printed on the door jams.

Find a similar truck that has a VIN and look it up. Please carry on in the towing forum or another thread.

I just built one and saw the chrome belt line mounding, mirror caps and door handles. I would have ordered that but it deleted some options I wanted more, I can one piece it at a time for the chrome.
Site is so inconsistent (nothing new there). Built a 3500 and 2500 with Silver ED. Both came out different. WHT is 3500 & Pat. BLU is 2500...so, yeah...

That’s insider information. Not accessible to the general public. It would be nice if Stellantis offered their sold-order customers a web based portal that could allow you to enter your VIN and get this kind of information but unfortunately they do not. Basically you have to rely on:

A. Your selling dealer (the majority of whom are either so busy they can’t get back to you in a timely fashion or are misinformed / disconnected about what status codes mean.)

B. Ram Customer service (over the phone) where it’s the luck of the draw and IF you happen to get the right person, you MAY be able to get them to give you your trucks current status

C. Ram live chat where you basically get told they can’t give you status updates and you receive very general and vague responses that give you minimal information and leave you asking more questions than when you started.

D. The generosity, kindness, and patience of a few select members of this forum who, out of the goodness of their hearts and compassion for us poor souls who can not access said information, are willing to sacrifice their free time looking up the status of our trucks for us.

I like answer D. That is true!

New to the forum. I wanted to thank all who have enlightened me in the past 100+ pages that I have read. I've learned how to get on the Order Tracking list and the cryptostickers list (hopefully correctly). I'll see if it populates in the next couple of days. I ordered a 3500 Laramie CC HO longbed with most options but the hole in the roof. I wanted 5th wheel prep, but was told by dealer when I ordered it would delay my order, so I dropped it since I don't plan on a 5th wheel, and can have it added at a later date. I ordered the truck on 10/7, had a VIN on 10/9 and I am in D status anticipating a long wait.
You will get nothing from cryptostickers until it is build. Ordered 6/01 Cryptosticker notification 10/17.
