I'm wondering if something happened to the truck like an accident, major damage, relay fire
 
Long time lurker, first time poster.
Order date 8/2/21, Laramie 2500 night edition, Dealer told me yesterday my truck was in inspection. Today Ramchat said its in the "shipping stage". I have a build sheet without a window sticker yet. VIN 3C6UR5FL2NG138414
Fingers crossed I see it by December.

Lucky! That’s what my truck is but still in D1. Ordered 8/19.

It's all good, your truck wanted to stay back and ride in style to Detroit with mine. Fingers crossed mine makes the train with yours.

Yeah that site isn't accurate. It doesn't show the chrome mirror caps either on the generated photo. I thought I read it had a different grille and I assumed that it was the previous MY grille which is still nice and the look is good. Not 100% on the grille being that though...

I just built one and saw the chrome belt line mounding, mirror caps and door handles. I would have ordered that but it deleted some options I wanted more, I can one piece it at a time for the chrome.
 
Posted in the Crowdsource thread but my truck arrived at Mark Dodge yesterday. Picking up next week then driving it the 1600 miles back home. Really a painless experience (and I was prepared for a lot of pain). That, combined with 12% under MSRP, makes the trip down and back completely worth it. Laramie 2500 6.4, ordered 7/28 - so three months from order to pick-up. Hope some of you early guys start to see yours soon!

Maybe mine can get on that train also. Not sure the route mine will take cause my dealer is in Traverse City, MI.
 
I know it varies but is what is the average wait time for a built truck to sit prior to hitching a ride on a train?
How long will it take to get to Dallas from Saltillo?
 
Well 3rd build date came and went yesterday without a build sheet so I figured… lets ask Ramchat (only the second time as it makes me lose faith haha). They say the truck is in Paint now but no dealer eta. Guess I will watch for a build sheet.

BRV I hope your truck isn’t waiting for my rail car because bad luck tends to follow me.

Wish I’d have heard of how great Mark Dodge is cause for that kind of savings it probably would have been worth it for me to drive the 1100 (well one way) miles to get it there.

im 4 months of D status on a Hemi Laramie. Enjoy that new trucK!

What about price? I got the night edition for my 2500 but it still comes with the chrome or whatever exhaust and I think it should have been black like they do for the 1500 night editions.

If you’re well behaved you may be lucky and hear, there is a labor shortage, nobody is shipping anything or that old favorite on mine, Covid.
The wait will be a loooong 5 months. The dealer I used didn’t say anything like what will hold up orders. She just said probably 5 months.

Yeah really it’s fine if it comes in spring after roads clear up from salt after the winter. I just know the ram rep told my dealer sunroof would make orders be 5-6 months and without 3-4 months so that’s what they showed me on a email from the rep. I’m excited to get it I’ve never ordered a truck before no matter how long it takes I just want it now lol. I have the wheels tires just waiting for it
