Just got build sheet for Longhorn with 12 inch screen.
Is anyone using a screen protector - never used one on prev 8.4. Some smudges but no problem.
But 12 inch screens look more fragile and expensive.

I put them on all my vehicle screens....it's a good idea....

Well with my order from Mark Dodge they have you sign a non refundable deposit for $1000. If you didn’t sign something like that then you should be able to get your deposit back. I had a dealer in California once change stuff on my order so I canceled it and they threatened not to return my deposit until I threatened them with a visa dispute then they caved. Another time I canceled an order the dealer had zero problem whatsoever. So I bought another vehicle from them a couple years later.
With the dealer here i didnt not sign a non refundable form. The mistake was i left a cash deposit. At this point if i dont get it back its fine because i will be saving way more with Mark Dodge. I regret not leaving the deposit with my amex.

Well that maybe a problem but you should still ask. Be cool about it and don’t tell them you got a better deal just tell em you need to cancel the deal for personal reasons.

Are you tracking the rail car?

Lets see what happens tomorrow the sales woman was not happy at all when i called and told them i need to cancel. If it comes down to it they can keep the money im not going to cry over spilled milk. Just a learning experience for my part.

Don't let them bully you on a deposit. Any reputable dealer will give it back regardless of what you signed. With the market currently, they will still be able to sell the truck for a good price.
Just tell them your circumstances changed and you cant move forward with it. And then dont take your truck their for service LOL.

If they refuse personal reasons or a sick grandma reason you should speak with the GM and you’ll probably get it back. If you still don’t tell the GM your gonna review the dealership and post your experience on the forums.
Most likely you’ll get it back. They’ll be able to sell it in a few minutes. Most will be cool about it.

Lmao yea definitely not goint to take the truck there for service. They might give me the refund since its been 7 days i believe since i signed the paperwork to order the truck. But you never know..NY car dealers are different.....

Mine will likely be to my dealer in the next 2-3 weeks. So 4 months for me, which is lucky. 3 months is low.

I don't think the dates I have been able to collect are enough, or reliable enough.

What I do think is reliable and at least partially answers your question is the data I've put together here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet..._MpJw0d2yMxZ-ebVr0JRN8wlg/edit#gid=2076840502

Column E is the build date listed on the window sticker. Something like that aggregated by date sounds like what you're after.
Oh, dang that's handy thanks man missed that one.

My dealer told me today Ram is will be allowing anyone with an order older than 4 months to cancel with no obligation. At least that’s what the rep said.

I wasn't very gentle on my 12" screen, dog slobber and all and I never had an issue. They are pretty tuff, but it is probably a good idea as I'm sure it could get scratched if circumstances presented itself. Thanks Murphy!
