Because he was annoying, argumentative and added nothing of substance to the dialog IMO.Why was King Phillips kicked out? Never understood that haha
They can modify an order - but it takes special approval - and probably depends on what you want to do - they added Tow Mode Camera pkg to my Longhorn, but it took a week to get approval after I made the request.
Yours is probably waiting on mine. Mine is build, but in JS status. Going to pretty much the same area. It wouldn’t surprise me if they make it on the same trucksYou'll need to wait a bit, mine is still sitting on a rail car in Mexico. It doesn't appear to have moved in a week. Check my driveway mid to end of November, I should have the mud flaps, hood deflector, rear bed step, window tint and 3M clear on it by then. Your not going to want to steal a truck that isn't finished and ready for daily use, no one wants to steal something and then immediately have to start spending hard earned money on it![]()

It depends on which trim level you have as to which options interact. Here what happened I wanted level 1 witch I seen them do then some how tow technology package was clicked and that clears out level 1 package. they telling me that all I’d be missing is adaptive cruise ,digital rear view mirror , 17 speaker stereo n I was like yeah the stuff I said I wanted so we need to figure this out

If you are talking Limited, I think most if not all of the Tow Tech options are already included in the Limited and its Limited Level 1 pkg.
If you are talking Longhorn, the I think the Tow Tech pkg forces you to the Longhorn Level 1 pkg to get the 12 inch display and other items it requires. In any case it is not a conflict as I have both on my Longhorn POC sheet.
Cant say about Laramie and other levels, and I understand they are limiting some options / changing pkg especially on lower levels due to parts availability.
I would guess if you are selecting the Tow Tech on a Limited it is considered a lesser pkg in lieu of the Limited Level 1 pkg - but best to talk to your dealer guy who put together the order options list
Doubt it. I’ve been D1 back to D several times. Had 4 different estimated delivery dates over the last 2 months. May orderAfter raising hell yest, I rec'd an email from CARA this morning.
It says that my order has an estimated production plan timing for either the week of Oct 11 or Oct 18 but that these times are estimated and subject to change.
I sent it over to my dealer who said he looked and now im back at D status versus D1.
Maybe what I read earlier abotu D1 to D means it is bout to be built.
Go to Post number 825 in this thread and it will explain. Your dealer should have notified when you ordered the truck about the sensor shortage.Wondering what this “Engine Calibration Flash” is all about?![]()

Assuming we are talking a Limited, the options list says the Tow Tech adds 2 items - Surround View (truck) and Trailer Reverse Guidance - both of which are included in the Limited Level 1 pkg.I did they are contacting sales rep see what can be done. I will post what I find out. Crossing fingers
yes, once the missing sensors are installed by the dealer they have to reflash/recalibrate the engine so it knows they are present.Yes he did, but I didn’t realize the calibration was required or that it would be an actual listed option on the web build program. But thank you for additional clarification and the link to the other thread, I will read up on that! Much appreciated!

If for some reason they can't delete the Tow Tech and substitute the Limited Level 1, another option might be to leave the Tow Tech and add the Safety pkg - it appears they are compatible and that would appear to give you everything except the 17 speaker radio - 10 speaker Limited base system would stay.

It’s going to stay stock, just thought it was funny that you hear all these emissions laws and what not, and here we are at the dealership talking about a truck that’s brand new and doesn’t have all the emissions parts lol
