2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I checked with my local dealer and they have a handful of 2022 models both 2500 and 3500, almost all of them have the night edition, and all of them are crew cabs. VINs are within a couple thousand of my number so I’m hoping that maybe with a little luck, mine will be on its way shortly. Been in JS status since last week

Well I ordered 3 weeks ago so I hope it can be corrected before it’s built because what I’m seeing is if you click on tow technology group option it kicks out level 1. I believe it was a mistake we made not knowing but they are looking into it to make sure but I think it’s pretty much where it is

That's because tow technology is part of Level1, just have to get tow mode camera-wired (XN1). I did Limited Level 1 (A69), tow mode camera (XN1), & trailer surround view (XN1). There is a really good thread on this.

They reordering today I want the level 1 to get the stereo system as well it was their fault not mine on that one. Couldn’t add trailer tire pressure system this time tho it blacked out now can’t order but that’s fine

Ohh that would explain my salesman’s comment about “you have to promise to bring this truck back here when we get the emissions chips” ….and the subsequent laugh by both of us

Changes nothing emissions related except the ability to monitor the DPF.

Unless you plan to lose weight, I'd want those sensors on there.

Wondering what this “Engine Calibration Flash” is all about?

I am very interested in what the heck that is. I know when I take delivery of any vehicle, I insist the dealer hook up and apply all the latest updates. Wonder what the order code is for that, and why it would show there. Should be something the dealer does during PDI IMO.

Build and price is still being updated. When I Looked last night only the 1500 DT showed 2021 2022 but if you drilled into the 3500 the 2022 showed there.

Also, has the 10K GVWR 3500 CC always been available or is this something new?

For what it's worth, I wouldn't get too cranked up about the build and price discrepancies just yet. It seems like the packages and options shown reflect what was available prior to mid/late September and I suspect they will change in the near future. I can definitely say they don't match what I saw at the dealer last week when I ordered mine. Using the build and price the base price is $700 less than my POC shows. Pretty confident there hasn't been a price decrease..

I feel the same way!!

They are reordering my truck today it was missing level one but now I’m missing trailer tpms it won’t let them add that now but oh well I don’t care about that as much as the level one package. I hate going to back of the line but I am not goin* to have less then I want when it shows up!!

It’s going to stay stock, just thought it was funny that you hear all these emissions laws and what not, and here we are at the dealership talking about a truck that’s brand new and doesn’t have all the emissions parts lol

I just see level 1 and level B on the 22 builder,no level C.

Ordered 3500 srw Laramie 9/18 with level D. There is no info on Ram Build for this package. I had the info sent by me dealer before I ordered.

First timer, here. Ordered my 2022 Laramie Cummins Granite Crystal, Midniht Edition on 31 May. Couldn’t get Maximum Steel in midnight. Still in D status as of 29 Sept. build sheet attached. At that time the dealer could no longer order 2021 but had no pricing for 2022. Thus the hand-written “honor 2021 pricing”. Got a great offer on my 2017 Rebel, I paid 40 and offered 36 for trade with 70k miles.

The way I understood it, It doesn't affect emissions. It's only to measure the pressure differential in/out of the DPF. I don't think they were NOx sensors.

Without it active Regens are only going to occur on the 24 hour schedule, not sooner if you have a clogged DPF. That's the assumption anyway.

Thanks for the insider info I really appreciate it!
I’ll be sure to keep the idle time down to a minimum, planned to do that anyway. I think the majority of the people having emissions issues were related to excessively high idle times and not enough drive time at operating temp. Never had a single emissions issue with my 2017, kept the idle time to a minimum and it saw regular highway driving as part of daily life.

They can modify an order - but it takes special approval - and probably depends on what you want to do - they added Tow Mode Camera pkg to my Longhorn, but it took a week to get approval after I made the request.

Do they do that through their rep? They are small dealer and can tell they don’t do much custom orders

Call ram cuatomer service on the phone. I now have a case manager assigned to mine that is supposed to call me today

Same. Did this yesterday when Ram shat said they no longer had the parts for my build.
