Love how we all had a moment

Haha yeah. “When you want your truck so bad you forget what day it is”

Been there myself and also wanted to chat with RamChat on a Sunday, back before I realized the absurdity and the generality of their responses haha

80 days and counting…

Yeah I’m confused to, so much driving yesterday to pick up that truck has me pretty tired lol.

My 1st guess is the CP4. Then it’s probably UC5 and then they just upgrade all the time so probably no reason at all just a habit.
Oh thought of another one, people getting more money now for their used truck then they paid for it new, why not trade in.

On point with the trade in values. I had no intention of swapping, I love my '17. But when I can get more than I paid for it used 3 years ago with half the miles, it's hard to turn that down. Especially when I'll have 31k in equity to put towards the new one.

I see a lot of you upgrading to the 22 from 20’s and 19’s. I’m coming from a 19 my self. What’s some of the reasons for the upgrade? I’m actually thinking of leasing this time. Since I don’t hold on to my truck for long.
Multiple reasons for me coming from a 2019 3500 limited. The limited didn't have all the options I wanted and i always regretted not shopping longer for what I actually wanted (but needed it for a trip at the time).

Also had a water leek from the roof I couldn't get fixed at the local dealers, infact the closest dealer flat out refused to even look at it after I had been waiting in the lobby for 30 min with a scheduled appointment.

Then with the market offering so much for my truck, MarkDodge giving such a great deal on a 22, and having a company vehicle allowing me to wait for the new truck it was a no brainer.

The biggest thing for me was selling it the the dealer that refused to fix the truck, treated me like ****, paying me a premium for it, and knowing they will be forced to fix it now for who ever they sell it to.

It’s the way to go for sure cuz of the market, I mean paying $600 a month more for a longer term, just didn’t make sense. Like obvi you’ll have more paid off and can use that to your advantage, but you still have to find a good offer on your car to sell or trade it, paying more interest over time, etc etc. But normally, HD’s are pretty uncommon to lease, because people use them as work trucks. But even if we did several thousand dollars in damage that had to be fixed before giving it back to them, it’s still way cheaper to lease.
It’s like renting a house at the end you have nothing to show for the money you have been spending every month for it.

My 2016 3500 had a leak once in the sun roof. But it looked like the sr was an after thought. The headliner was held in with 2 sided tape from the factory I was told. But my 19 had a sr and no problems there. And the new one will also. So we will see.

I’ve had an 06 and my 17 with sun roofs, no leaks. I’ll have to say I usually only draw the inside cover back, I rarely open them. I do have one on the way, I hope my good luck continues.
