My truck date is flying but I don't have a sunroof boys so maybe there is a lot of weight on that. Also was reading this today in relation to those waiting for built deliveries... inflation is going to hit very hard in the next couple of years for many reasons.

If thats the case, you are not the first one to suffer this problem - clearly they should have a fix and know whether reflashing will fix or they need to send dealer a new screen or a new truck - and FCA should have been able to answer you on first day you had problem - and there probably should be a TSB or recall if it affects safety / driveability of vehicle - seems like a bit of a run-around. Heres hoping the reflash solves the problem and keeps you happy with truck. Fortunately you seem to have a persistent dealer.

Hope the fix handles it for trucks built before Oct, I got the same one.

I believe the dealers have priority for stock, they have to keep the doors open. They prob order long before we have the chance.

That wouldn't make sense. When a truck is ordered as a sold unit then RAM knows that is guaranteed money paid back quickly. Dealer stock, depending if they receive terms, might take a while to sell with prices holding at MSRP+. So the money isn't coming back to RAM as quick. RAM wants trucks delivered (R&I'd) as soon as possible.

The vins I have been seeing are NG122XXX and up, my sequence is NG119525. My guess is someone takes a shot of tequila and spins a wheel!

Talked to my salesman they said rep keeps saying only hood up on orders is the sunroof witch I decided to not get but 5th wheel prep I needed to use my hitch I already have in my current Laramie

When I ordered mine this week the ordering system popped up with an alert when we selected 5th wheel/gooseneck. I wish I had taken a picture of it because I don't remember the exact wording, but it did indicate selecting it would cause a delay. It's a must have option for me, so it didn't really matter. I didn't pay as close attention to it as I probably should have since I don't need the truck until late spring. I'll try to get her to bring it up again this week when I turn in my trade-in and get a picture of it.

I don’t even include scratches in truck bed when giving info to Carvana, Carmax, etc. It’s a truck, they should just come like that from the factory.

I didn't order one with the Night ED, but why is that holding up an order and why is it no longer available on lower trims? I don't get it...

In a normal market, yes. Not right now though. People WILL buy trucks on the lot. And as for RAM getting the money…I believe the manufacturer gets the money from the dealer when it’s invoiced, not when it’s sold.
