Truck gone now. Info based on sales pitch showing me difference between UC5 and 4 - but both Sales Mgr and Sales guy said UC5 vs 4. Personally I would not know as I had a 2015 with ancient Uconnect - thinking now it may have really been difference between 4 and 4C. Searched other info and have found 2021's with 3, 4, and 4C - but no 5.

Yeah I'm not aware that's even a possibility. 2021's either have 3 or 4C, and 2022's either 3 or 5.

CLF - Floor Mats

Darn floor mats ..... might see the truck Jan / Feb

I feel ya. I had a build date of 10/25, then recently got an updated date of 12/6. I ordered 6/14 amd super frustrated. Never expected to wait 6+ months after ordering. It’s pretty well loaded, but damn. Seriously considering cancelling the order.

Ya same boat , went in the dealership on May 29th .... and the saga continues ...
 
I didn't order one with the Night ED, but why is that holding up an order and why is it no longer available on lower trims? I don't get it...

I like how you hear different things from different ends. Ramchat, Stellantis, and Customer Care all say “the parts needed to assemble your vehicle have arrived” ….but then you read post after post about how certain options are “holding up” production. The parts are either there, or they aren’t. It can’t be both.

Im going into carmax today to get an assessment. givemethevin did just call and say they will beat any carmax offer or give you $100 so I'll provide you an update later on with how it shakes out! Trading vs selling out right... This is a cat n mouse game that chances with the day, time of the month, person and the place your dealing with. I am giving the dealer one last chance once I have a D1 date to make a solid trade offer, if not acceptable then I'll try to sell it. You do have to remember the tax on the new purchase is offset by the trade value. As an equation: Sold Price $ - trade value $ = taxable value $. If your get into a trades value of more than 10,000 the tax offset starts to matter. PS the dealer knows the tax offset and will work it to the bone.

I would wait til Sticker appears or at least build sheet - D1 seems to get shifted and not mean that much - some have been D1 for a while in some cases months with trucks reverting to D after they have been D1.
But you are right on as to tax offset - at least in most states. - at nearly 10% in most states, 10% of $10k is $1000 - and some states higher % - and then there are those of us with an insurance settlement on a totalled $50k+ 2015 2500 Limited that probably should have been $60k or more.

That is exactly what I'm trying to do, bought Ram 2500 in Nov 2020 has 5400 miles, it is perfect as side from scraps in the bed that a spray in liner will cover. Doesn't need detailed, it is new still. Dealer wants to call if in fair cond. for the scraps and reduce it $6k, not acceptable. As walking away they then wanted to deal, just kept quietly walking.

They say one of the fixes in the software update is “freezing and blank screens”. They will Attempt to flash mine next Weds. will let you know how that goes

If thats the case, you are not the first one to suffer this problem - clearly they should have a fix and know whether reflashing will fix or they need to send dealer a new screen or a new truck - and FCA should have been able to answer you on first day you had problem - and there probably should be a TSB or recall if it affects safety / driveability of vehicle - seems like a bit of a run-around. Heres hoping the reflash solves the problem and keeps you happy with truck. Fortunately you seem to have a persistent dealer.

Talked to my salesman they said rep keeps saying only hood up on orders is the sunroof witch I decided to not get but 5th wheel prep I needed to use my hitch I already have in my current Laramie
