2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I am trying to ignore all production and shipping dates,

I absolutely love it and rides very very good. Rode in a 2020 and was rough as hell. Can wait for all to enjoy. Y’all will love these babies. Thought I post before signing off. I believe i started somewhere around page 34 lol. It’s been a journey.
wonder about the difference in the ride??? you think it was new suspention or the auto leveling

I’m supposed to have cooled and heated seats too, but I’m not sure if they ever got installed….there is no button to press. The only way to turn those on is through the god forsaken Uconnect screen….that doesn’t work :mad:o_O

I'm 99% sure there's no way your dealer would do this but tell them to yank a 12" screen from their next lot inventory that shows up, if they don't already have one on the lot that is not sold yet. Major bummer, sounds like you have my luck. I hope they get it sorted quickly for you, otherwise I'd tell them they're making the payment until it'd fixed and they're also supplying you with a rental in the mean time as well

Be careful what you wish for….pressuring these factories apparently leads to total crap builds. At least in my case.

I would much rather still be waiting on a build than taking delivery yesterday, driving for 2 hours only to have a catastrophic failure of the entire Uconnect screen/system with no known solution from the dealer, FCA or Uconnect. The Uconnect 5 Nav 12” option is all new for 2022 so they apparently don’t yet have an issues/solutions database. Lucky me. Their only advice is to NOT drive truck because they can’t confirm that systems like crash avoidance, lane departure, adaptive cruise, high beams, etc will work as all those settings are fed through the failed Uconnect System.

I was just going to drive it with no radio or climate control but no go. It has to stay parked with less than 2 hours of use. I told the dealer I was having it towed back and to not sell my trade as I wanted to return the truck and unwind the whole purchase. He said that is not possible. So…I do indeed have a brand new 2022 build that was ordered in August and received yesterday.…. with big a## payments, but it cannot be driven until further notice with no known remedy and no timeline and likely no chips/parts even if the problem is ever is diagnosed!

Believe me, I would rather have an order waiting on parts in Mexico. At least then I would still have a slim chance at a decent build, no payments and still have the truck I traded away yesterday instead of Uber bills to get me to work.

By the way, I’ve already decided that if they take this dead truck back, my next order is going to be for a Tradesman with radio delete...and hand crank windows!!
If you happened to buy the Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan, there should be a provision for providing a replacement vehicle, but it does not appear to be included in basic warranty - I assume you have already escalated to Dealer General Manager and FCA US LLC Customer Assistance Center per Warranty booklet

6/17 order laramie cummins crew cab 2500

I am now showing an estimated 10/20 ship (build) date. I have been down this road before though

Well, sitting at the dealer with 5100 miles on my 2021 to see how much they want to buy it. I'll be working an outage 84 hours a week until November 10, and the new truck will be here before that. So I may as well consider selling this before the 2022 models propagate throughout the dealership lots and knock the 2021 trade values down.

I was told today that my truck is a total loss. Actually made about 10K on the totaled price vs what I paid for it a year ago. Ram 2500 tucks have a frame that has to be replaced if damaged, so keep that in mind if you happen to have an accident (I pray no one does).

I know without looking I am still in D status. Maybe I will get my truck before the end of the year and finally get out of this rental. Hard to drive a Ram 1500 base after having a 2500 loaded truck.

Good to see more trucks are being delievered. Gives me hope
