Just realized thePOC does not give assembly date rather a shipping date. Wonder if RAMCHAT would give the build date?

I would much rather still be waiting on a build than taking delivery yesterday, driving for 2 hours only to have a catastrophic failure of the entire Uconnect screen/system with no known solution from the dealer, FCA or Uconnect. The Uconnect 5 Nav 12” option is all new for 2022 so they apparently don’t yet have an issues/solutions database. Lucky me. Their only advice is to NOT drive truck because they can’t confirm that systems like crash avoidance, lane departure, adaptive cruise, high beams, etc will work as all those settings are fed through the failed Uconnect System.

I was just going to drive it with no radio or climate control but no go. It has to stay parked with less than 2 hours of use. I told the dealer I was having it towed back and to not sell my trade as I wanted to return the truck and unwind the whole purchase. He said that is not possible. So…I do indeed have a brand new 2022 build that was ordered in August and received yesterday.…. with big a## payments, but it cannot be driven until further notice with no known remedy and no timeline and likely no chips/parts even if the problem is ever is diagnosed!

Believe me, I would rather have an order waiting on parts in Mexico. At least then I would still have a slim chance at a decent build, no payments and still have the truck I traded away yesterday instead of Uber bills to get me to work.

By the way, I’ve already decided that if they take this dead truck back, my next order is going to be for a Tradesman with radio delete...and hand crank windows!!

Very sorry to hear of your experience. Check Warranty docs, they may have to give you a vehicle to drive while yours is out of service.
Dont know what your state's Lemon Laws are, but you might want to check.
Also contact Better Business Bureau or other Consumer groups for suggestions - but my bet is Lemon Law would be the way to go in most states.
 
This stuff just got real. Ordered a 3500 CC HO LWB Laramie on 7/7/21. Still in D status. My wife ordered a F350 Tremor on 9/27 and wants to bet me which one gets here first. I'm not sure I'm willing to take that bet at this point.

I dropped State Farm like a hot turd earlier this year. Had a rat chew thru a main harness and they refused to cover anything. The adjuster and my agent hemmed and hawed around for a couple months. The straw that broke the camels back was when I called my agent for an update he asked verbatim "what do you expect me to do?". When I called to cancel my the coverage on everything they tried to offer me $250 towards the cost of the new harness ($7,500) to keep me as a customer.

Spoke too soon. Went D1 today with estimated ship date of 11/4. Hope this holds true and I don't end up back in C again.

Not sure if I should believe this. But got this answer from Ramchat today.
Your truck has been scheduled. This means all the parts have been received and it will begin the build in the next few weeks.
