Well to be the optimist: maybe with the change of command with the CEO they are taking a week to reorganize operations to pump these bitches out more efficiently.
Not so sure about that….Don’t worry, you ordered a limited. It will be built long before us pre order peasants.
Doubt that.Well to be the optimist: maybe with the change of command with the CEO they are taking a week to reorganize operations to pump these bitches out more efficiently.
My dealer just called and said I am in C status and that her rep. tells her that is better D, which i was in. I told her from what I know from this thread it is worse than D. She was pretty adamant that it was a good thing. She said she had a vehicle (not a ram HD, I take it) go to C then was built the following week. The picture she sent me shows a status date of 6.21, which is the day that I ordered, so C status make sense for that date. Ram Chat had the same "D" status canned response. I am not holding
Same. I’m thinking I should have gotten a limited mega and made one of the kids ride on the floor or under the tonneau cover.Damn. My 3500 Laramie CC SRW loaded w/sunroof ordered May 07 is still D. Maybe I should have ordered a mega cab again???
I HAD to have a MC, as soon as I seen a Mega in person I was sold! No more CC's again.Damn. My 3500 Laramie CC SRW loaded w/sunroof ordered May 07 is still D. Maybe I should have ordered a mega cab again???
If they made a MEGA CUMMINS POWERWAGON I'd be all over it! I comprised and went powerwagonI HAD to have a MC, as soon as I seen a Mega in person I was sold! No more CC's again.
How big is your dealer? not saying this has anything really to do with the status but I've read that larger dealers tend to have a bit more pull than Ma/Pa shops.. I had started an order with my local (small town but big enough to be an authorized CDJR dealer) but they were very weird when I first ordered so I hadn't given them a deposit so I left and went to my current dealer. I have really enjoyed my experience here and with this being my very first New Ordered truck I wanted a reputable dealership.
I had mine confirm by mouth and text. How can I confirm I’m locked in? My dealer will only say by mouth I have nothing to worry about price wise.
Bless her heartHahahaha I know, like I said it’s just a whole other reason not to trust them... the person read it all in one sentence too. “The plant “Saltillo Assembly Plant Mexico” is located in Lordstown, OH. “ I just giggled and agreed with them haha
Mine will only say by mouth as well. But the one time my salesman texted me he wrote that "if you provide a control number you will get the affiliate rewards price" so I'm banking on that to save me.How can I confirm I’m locked in? My dealer will only say by mouth I have nothing to worry about price wise.
No more gassers for me, now after owning a diesel, I won't go back. Although I just had a 15' Challenger scat straight piped (600+HP...OH BOY!) that I sold early for this new truck. If they made a MEGA CUMMINS POWERWAGON I'd be all over it! I comprised and went powerwagon

No, but the driver side head light was open for air intake. car was loud as hell too! We really hated to get rid of it but it just wasn't a practical rig. Here's a pic of the two that I sold early to my dealer as my trades. And it was a manual tranny (WHICH I WILL MISS DEARLY!!)Did you have a blower or nitrous on it??
23 August.when did you order yours?
Well I did a thing today. In the market for a 5th wheel toy hauler and only had a 2500 mega cab (yes I know people pull over weight with no problems but consider me mr safety). Decided to look at 3500’s with the high used car market. Local dealer only had Longhorns and didn’t care for the interior. They have been trying to get a quote on a custom build but still waiting on system to be updated. Last night located another local dealer that has a 2022 3500 HO long bed Laramie in transit. Looked at window sticker and noticed it had 95% of what I would have custom ordered. Wasn’t my first choice color (white) but it at least the sport package. Went by dealer today to work out trade in and signed on paperwork. Now waiting for the truck to clear customs and get in the train to Utah.
The big thing it’s missing is blind spot monitor but looks like that can be added afterwards ( will be messaging Jimmy for the harnesses) and the 5th wheel prep ( need to ask dealer on price to install).
Should have the truck in 4 weeks time. Nervous and excited. Thanks for all the help on others messages with their experience in custom building and the mess with new packages due to chip shortages.
I have a down payment on what sounds like the same truck: 2022 3500 Laramie DRW with HO diesel. I was concerned about the blind spot monitor too and ask the salesman if it had it. He told me it did but I don't think he knows what he is talking about (not the brightest bulb in the chandelier). Problem is, nowhere can I find the 2022 options package that actually lists the blind spot monitor in the package. You said that it can be added afterwards. How is that accomplished? Is that done through the RAM dealership or is it something that can be added on by a 3rd party? If you know, can you please post? Thanks.
