When my dealer updated me with new POC's that showed price increases, he told me not to worry because he always adds the no-charge
Price Protection Option. The only time it was not going to protect me is when my 2021 order got converted to a 2022 order. I was lucky that
the order got converted back to a 2021 order after a large fleet order was cancelled near the end of the 2021 model year.

Price Protection is a option offered in Canada and USA, it is shown in the North American FCA Sales Code Schedule.

I emailed Mark Dodge about this. They told me I would be charged the price that was on the POC after delivery. If for any reason it invoices for more, they (Mark Dodge) would hash it out with Ram. This makes sense to me.
 
Just got off phone with my dealer... He claims that tge FCA affliliate control numbers may be affected on the 1/2 ton 1500 models not on the 2500 models. But he said he would confirm with his Sales manager on Monday. Not sure if this is 100 percent but he claims my truck should be fine with the delivery of 10/1 to 10/13

Reason I was looking is my 2015 RAM 2500 Limited MegaCab was totalled by a tree here in south Louisiana in recent Hurricane (8/29) - ended up ordering a new 3500 Longhorn MegaCab with Rambox and 18 inch wheels and Tow Camera pkg the way I wanted it and dealer in New Orleans is quoting price below MSRP, unlike those few with current inventory that can get away with what I consider to be Price Gouging ($2k-5k above MSRP - Laramie in Tx with rambox and addons was above $114k). I was quoted (but not promised) a probable 12 week delivery but already showing D1 status and 10/10 Ship Date (dealer says not to believe Ship Date - they have to put something there).

And I ordered the same truck but with some extra options on July 27th and mine went from D1 status to D status. Maybe I'll get it by Christmas instead of October

I'm hearing that there are big time shipping and supply chain delays across the country now. My guess is the train is being held up waiting on other cargo. Just a thought.

I don’t have mine memorized but I do have a “copy and paste” statement for RamChat. I figured if they can do it……

It has my VIN, VON, name, address, phone number, email, and where’s my truck

Well I feel bad for you guys that have been waiting so long, I ordered 8-23 and then on 9-11 I got to D then on 9-22 it went to D1 then I got my Friday update and it went to E today, I'm very happy but I got a basic Laramie truck and I couldn't ask for a better salesman great price on my trade in great price on the truck communicates fantastic every Friday I get an update and if I text him a message he usually answers within an hour here is his contact information he is in Ringgold Georgia tell him John H sent you

Hemi or Cummins?
 
Got my usual Ram chat response today, still waiting on parts for my BH 3500 4x4 CC LB 6.7 SO SRW level 1, blind spot monitoring and a couple other options,, ordered 8-9, went to D status 8-20.
Is everyone using ram chat for updates or are you getting them from your dealer, I messaged my salesman and was told he can only track it once it ships.

Just talked to my salesman, aka my son, he said my 2500 BH is in D1 status with an estimated ship date of Oct 13. He works for Kim’s DCRJ in Laurel MS. I told I guess delivery sometime in November then. He just laughed and said end of October to early November. Fingers crossed.
