2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Honestly, I'm probably jumping ship and abandoning my order. I ordered a Tradesman 6/24 w/ safety group. It's been in D status since then w/ zero forward progression. Now halting production and ending affiliate pricing in the same day. I'm beyond disappointed.

Making my decision Monday. Going to have an open conversation with dealer and try one last time on Ram Crap. 6/14 2022 order which was a re-order from a jacked up 4/21 2021 order.

Yes, I was told the same thing today by my salesman. Suspending it the rest of the year starting Oct 1st. and he needed mine right away.
so... I have heard nothing from my dealer as I just ordered my truck in Sept. what is the affiliate pricing and the control number etc.? Do I need to call the dealer to try and lock in the price for my truck I already ordered?

Price Protection has to be added to the initial order when it is placed. With all the current changes and price increases, I would think
only dealers that had a high enough price mark-up would be able to hold order prices without the Price Protection Option. Not many
dealers out there that will loose money on a sale to keep a customer happy!

When my dealer updated me with new POC's that showed price increases, he told me not to worry because he always adds the no-charge
Price Protection Option. The only time it was not going to protect me is when my 2021 order got converted to a 2022 order. I was lucky that
the order got converted back to a 2021 order after a large fleet order was cancelled near the end of the 2021 model year.

Price Protection is a option offered in Canada and USA, it is shown in the North American FCA Sales Code Schedule.

Ah. Thanks for clarifying. I will give my dealer a call today.

Spoke to Sandi at Mark Dodge yesterday afternoon. My truck was in a rail yard 10 minutes away from where I was working. Sadly, it has to make the two hour trip to Lake Charles. She said that since Ida, it is now taking two to three weeks to go that distance because of logistics issues at the rail yard.

Ordered on 7/14
Longhorn hemi loaded with all of the goodies and a sunroof

Is it a bad thing when you have your VIN memorized from typing it in so much?

I’m at that point. My wife literally laughed at me the other day when she heard me recite my VIN over the phone. Two months straight of weekly check-ins with Ramchat and I know it by heart. Maybe the next time I get pulled over, I’ll be able to save the officer a lot of legwork. Between my DL #, Policy #, and VIN #, maybe they’ll be so impressed they let me go lol

Post correction. My Limited CC 8' bed build ordered 7/16 was originally scheduled for 9/15. Now scheduled 11/15. Per my secret squirrel. If it takes 6 weeks to arrive at dealer after build, that puts it right at January. The 5th wheel RV ordered 10/17/2020 is finally due to arrive at dealer Mid October 2021. So learning to wait is a new skill set most of us have had forced upon us. It's not just things manufactured with chips either.

Oh man. the hits just keep on coming. I ordered 7/16, thought I squeaked through the build process somehow, but have been in JS for 2 weeks with an est ship date of 9/28. Hope it makes it - but know 2-3 weeks to make a 2 hour drive to the dealer? DAYYUUUUMMM!
