$5,000 “market adjustment”…..I’d walk away. I hope they don’t try that garbage on mine when it comes in. (If it comes in)

Agree. Walked away from one with 5k price goiging. And a couple of more with $2k worth of unwanted junk dealer adons. $300 for wheel locks $700 gor dealer add on tracking. Actually found one dealer in Sulphur La that was willing to sell below MSRP with Hurricane Ida discount.

This doesn’t say anywhere price is subject to change unless I’m blind. I’m expecting this price to stay as it’s shown and I signed it.

edit,
I think I see something on the left about price on this sheet is an estimate.

Read the back. There is all sort of get outta jail free legalese there. Thus, I think Mark Dodge reserves the rights as laid out here but they are a stand up dealership and honor their agreements as signed. I do not expect any of us to be SOL with them.

Well... Ram chat says I'm fixing to get ready to start to prepare to think about maybe scheduling.

The Saltillo factory master scheduler just typed the S at the top of the page. Next week the C if they aren’t shut down. So by November they’ll have “Schedule” at the top and then can start filling in trucks below that.:p

I emailed Sandi last week and she said my price was protected despite no formal Sales Code on the POC.

So what happens to us guys that were promised affiliate pricing with a Control Number? We just don't matter anymore?
You are SOL, I certainly was. I had a salesman laugh in my face when I brought up my control number. No one around me is moving from Msrp of in stock vehicles. Every dealer is different though. You might get lucky and find someone who will accept it. It never hurts to ask.

They told me they would accept the control number, but now I don’t know if they will if they’re discontinuing it on October 1st

Is it in stock?

I was told the control number couldn't be used until you're taking delivery of the vehicle.

It’s not in stock it’s my ordered limited. They guaranteed me a bunch of stuff but have been slowly backing out of there “guarantees”. Pretty much a bait and switch dealer

Thanks for that, what site is that?!

Found it on some dealer site using my google-fu.

So does that mean we have to close this thread? I still think if we retitle it as “The Waiting Room” all topics are fair game. We could say random tangents are things we saw in magazines on the coffee table….

Though I don't owe you a response or explanation, there were some "inflammatory political comments" posts removed due to member reports.

Doesn't matter which side of the aisle you're on, it's not allowed unless you want to fire up a thread in Off Topic. You want a waiting room thread, start one.

I suggest you re-read the site rules before you say anything else.

Oh wow. I missed those posts then. So much happens quickly on here. I only took a break for dinner

Still wide enough to carry the plywood, probably about 49", would probably have trouble loading larger four wheelers though. However this is the second vehicle I've had with the ramboxes and I don't ever plan on having a truck without them, I love them! However I do have a 78 Ford with an 8-ft bed at home for hauling larger loads.

Very nice! I have a 72 F-250 that is potentially slated for a Gen 3 Coyote swap w/ 10spd trans, should be an awesome cruiser!

Learned today my order has gone to D1 - Gateline plant has sequenced the unit for production, estimated ship date assigned of 10/13. Downside is I that I had been trying for three days to get the POC/VIN for my dad's order that was placed a few days before mine. With some confusion they sent my POC printed for today and then finally his. His build is still at D, but the worse part, it has two extra options he really does not want and did not ask for; 4.10 axle ratio and Dually Wheels. No idea how the dealer fat fingered those in but now it's looking like my dad may have to reorder. The dealer is going to try reaching out to the area rep but I don't hold out much hope for that going anywhere. I feel bad for my dad, he's the one that convinced me to purchase new instead of Frankensteining my 2003 DRW and now his may arrive after mine and fewer tech choices?
