Got an update from Sandi today…
My 3500 Limited Night Mega SRW with every conceivable safety and camera option plus the sunroof and rambox is in D1 and the updated POC says it should ship October 1… the wait continues! THERE IS HOPE!!! Btw I ordered July 14/21…

This is just getting comical. Precious even. I ordered 6/14, similar truck. Wishing you and others after me the best, but it’s getting hard.

Haha, April here and it was built in July and hasn't shipped, and it's a 21. Yeah, it's bs, I was cool with it all but now that I need it in 2 weeks and have to cancel plans I'm beyond pissed.

Again so sorry. Completely unacceptable.

I’m in the process of ordering 2022’s for both the wife and myself.

Hers is a 2500 lone star sport mega cab diesel with Level 1 Equipment and Heated Seats and Wheel Group.

Mine is a 3500 tradesman diesel dually with tradesman level 2 and the safety group.

Our dealer is currently working on translating what we built on the 21 site into a 22 order. Has anyone had trouble with these packages either being put on hold due to chips or changing for the 22 lineup? I read pretty far back in this thread but hard to read all 7k entries. Just want to have somewhat of a real world idea when my dealer comes back.

Secondly, has anyone ordered from Four Star dodge in Henrietta Tx? I’ve bought 3 trucks from them but these will be my first orders.

I don’t think anyone here will really be able to help out too much. No one has any idea really on what chips (options) are readily available and what is in short supply. Your Lonestar Level 1 wii probably be a lonestar C (if they use the same packages as BH) due to that packages changing. Have your dealer see what they can order.

And talking about dealers…if your dealer doesn’t give you a good deal and you and wifey want to take a couple trips to Lake Charles, LA, you’re about 450 miles from Mark Dodge. Might as well send those build sheets to Sandi: [email protected] and see what she can do for you. Might make it worth your time.

Me too,2 1/2 months before this one and this one is running through the plant already, Level C but still....
 
I found this article about the Ram 1500 plant (Sterling Heights Assy Plant - SHAP) going to mandatory 7 day work weeks for next 90 days. Wonder if Saltillo Truck Assy Plant (STAP) is going to get the same demand from Stellantis? The Union may have different agreement with them being in Mexico, though.


Just posting this on the news of the increased production. Not looking for this to be a discussion/debate/argument/flame war over the article’s end goal and the website it’s listed on.
That is true, not sure about Saltillo though. Different Union.

Just saw this. 1st Laramie I’ve seen done.

$5,000 “market adjustment”…..I’d walk away. I hope they don’t try that garbage on mine when it comes in. (If it comes in)

That's why you have a signed buyers order when you order.

I was given assurances from both my salesman and the owner of the dealership that the price we settled on would be honored when mine is delivered. I like doing business with a handshake and taking people on their word. If they fail to meet their end, then I take my business elsewhere. I’m hoping there won’t be an issue but you know how car buying can go!
If they drop the ball I’ll take my deposit back and order another one somewhere else.
