2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Interesting . Basically no way to track where your truck is during shipping haha . I’m in Massachusetts so no idea what carrier handles the East coast. Hopefully arrives scratch free
Either CSX or Norfolk Southern. I know of ways to track a train but the train consist would inevitably get separated and cut into other trains at various points and I don't know how someone could track an individual autorack, or know which autorack a particular truck is riding on for that matter. Dealers can probably see the last hub that a train has passed through on their computers.

Just got a call from my dealer. My Big Horn with Level B has been built and is on the train. He is expecting to receive it early October. I ordered 8/5.
I ordered exactly the same with the exception of a different color on 7\7. This sucks. I'm still in D status...

Took delivery of my Tradesman yesterday, thought I would post some pix. Would love to trade off this chrome for black Bumpers and grill surround. Also tradesman with 8.4 non-nav IS CONNECTED VEHICLE. You can unlock, lock, horn, fuel level and locate and more. I have already modded my factory remote to drop tailgate and hope to have the sales code tomorrow. I ordered safety, tow tech and it came with hood ajar switch already installed so I'm hoping after adding remote start sales code I can use the RAM app to start also. Just being able to leave my keys in the truck and use the app to lock it is amazing. If there's any questions I can answer I'll be glad to do so as I have learned so much on this forum.

It appears to me that UP and Kansas City Southern both have a presence in Mexico and there is not a hand-off at the border, but I don't work down there so I don't know for sure.

Since you want to wade into this,

first of all it is a little more involved than getting your info from a company website designed for the general public. The UP map you included shows a green line representing the FXE (Ferromex) route from Saltilllo, Mex to Eagle pass Tx.

Attached is vin tracking of my vehicle showing the origin (Saltillo) destination (Buffalo) and more importantly the last event location (Piedras Negros) on the Mexican side of the border opposite Eagle Pass where once again it will be handed off to the BNSF which will bring it to Kansas city to be interchanged with the NS who will then bring it to Buffalo.20210921_195144.jpg

Congrats on the new truck! Keep in mind when you leave the key fob in the truck then lock it, it will unlock itself. This is a preventative to locking yourself out of the truck. You could end up getting your truck stolen. Check your owners manual.

In my previous post it shows me quoting you disregard that it wasn't directed to you.

You can get the last reported location from your dealer if they are willing to give it to you. See my previous post.

Interesting, so does BNSF run light power to Eagle Pass just to pick up the train?

Seems like you can’t even track csx unless you are a business

Something interesting guys. I got my window sticker email from Cryptostickers on 9/20 around noon, the build sheet came hours after the window sticker went live.

What's interesting? My truck was ALREADY ON THE TRAIN rolling down the tracks

Here I've been thinking it'll be january, because I had no build sheet. And yet, the completed truck is already on its way.

Hang in there folks. That electronic sticker aint everything. I bet many members here already have movement, the computer just isn't updated.

I never did get a build sheet til hours after the window sticker went live.

On another thread someone explained that the equipment listings don't populate on weekends but window stickers do, maybe that has something to do with it? Same thing happened to me. Anyway, who cares as long as it's on the way, congratulations!

That's not very accurate.

I don't know about those operating particulars. They could be using run thru power to and from Saltillo or they are using the power from the southbounds to return with the northbounds when they get them from FXE..

Any chance you can take some pics to post over in the trailer camera thread so people know what to expect? https://hdrams.com/forum/index.php?...railer-camera-options.6626/page-4#post-115202
Maybe a pic of the tow mode connector port opened up, and some pics of the tow mode camera and wiring?34E69F2A-E26F-443F-9128-EBB7CDD4675F.jpeg
