It ends up being a wash if you are having someone install the hardwired ones.These are held in place with 3M tape, they are LED and solar charged and come with a remote to turn on/off you can go clear, amber, or smoked lens.
Seems pricey, but I have no idea how much it would cost to install a hardwired set (and I don't think I'd want to drill into the roof anyway)

I think that's a reflection in the left rear side glass...Also had noticed that the mirrors have the running lights always on which I don't think previous years did. (see 1HasBeen's pic above).

Nice, I pulled the lower plastic piece off to drill the holes and make the harness. My biggest fear is how the weight of snow and ice buildup will affect the harness. I ended powering it from the fuse box. drilled a tight hole in the back and pulled the wire through.
Your fuse tap is backwards. Power is supplied from the rear of the truck to the front.
