2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

agreed. And the longer it takes them to build…the more they’re moving prices higher and higher. Seems like it should all automatically be locked in when you ordered.
I would say that our buyers order from Mark Dodge we signed should protect us, but the fine print says otherwise. I guess if the dealers wants to be a **** ……I don’t really see that happening , but who knows.

Yup. Will deal with it if/when the 2022 actually shows up.

4.10 on a SO diesel? That’s an option? My dealer looked into it and said he couldn’t order that combo.

Yeah, that's interesting. Thought that was a DRW/HO option only.

It is a Dually only option.

ETA: On diesel trucks... 4.10 is available on any gas model.

Contact my dealer. Gupton Ram, in Springfield, TN. My salesman was Kemmy. They are Located just off i65 near TN/KY line. I almost ordered from MArk Dodge. Sandi was great but that drive is a killer tho.
My dealer only has two new 2022 ram 2500 custom orders in the que. they were close to Sandi’s numbers factoring gas and time. Plus my dealer gave me 50k trade in and Mark dodge only offered 44k.
I did contact them. I plan on sending my build to several dealers.

I looked at what the drive would be to Mark Dodge and decided I didn't want to do that. So I'll be paying over a $1000 to have it shipped. If I can get it closer and still keep the price close to Mark Dodge I'll be happy.

I try and leave Sandi alone for the most part once I got my order in, that was a back and forth a lot to get it all figured out. I then reached out after builds started. Then first week of September like she told me to do. And 2 other emails in the between about us being protected on them chopping packages and again yesterday to try and understand the scheduling after I posted those builds that won the lottery and the one that went D1 after a 9-11 order date.
I know she has zero control over what gets done at the factory, but maybe she has more insight as to the why, either way I do my best to leave her alone. For the most part the sales staff isn’t the person to take our frustrations out on.
Same

Also factor in the tax savings if you wanted to trade-in and your state allows it to count against the purchase price.

Has anyone had their truck delivered from Mark Dodge a long distance? I'm curious if they drive it to you or put it on a trailer.

They are 1000 miles from me, so if someone is gonna put a thousand miles on the truck, I think I'll fly there and do it myself.
I haven’t ordered yet, but I talked to Sandi about delivery. She advised they use a trucking service for deliveries over 250 miles. The free delivery option is driven by Mark Dodge to wherever it gets delivered to.

Was told that my truck is in the trim stage of build today. General manger informed me that that they are building from last order out. They are told to reorder orders that wasn’t picked up during allocation of the build cycle. This is BS for people that ordered in May and early June for their orders to be picked up for builds . He isn’t doing that because of packages change and price change. The cycle they are building right now is limited, longhorn limited and upper levels of Laramie.

I just came across something strange.

I was told that Olive green is not currently available. But I know 2022 Power Wagons do exist in that color. Here is video of one.

So I guess that's something they've removed or quit offering. I don't get it. Seems weird.

I'd go to kernsville and get one before I waited that long.

there is good supply of 21s north of me a few hrs, not exactly what i want but pretty close......and fair price.....
missing remote start and heated seats/wheel, which is kinda sucks but not end of world......idk still debating

Out of all the equipment listings I have found so far and parsed through with some Python (17,587 of them right now) it seems the tech features are potentially a big bottleneck.

I ordered a Laramie with the digital mirror, surround view, trailer surround view, and blindspot monitoring.

None of the window stickers I've found include all of those options on a Laramie. Except for two of the development trucks which are sequence numbers 6 and 129.

It makes me feel a little bit better that while I'm seeing trucks ordered 2 months after mine, there is certainly some logic to it.

I'm trying to make this data available in a spreadsheet so that anyone can filter it and figure out if trucks have been built after their sequence number with all the same options. Just need enough time to do it.

Tell him Lukas referred you. What’s your build?

Thank you again. My Laramie is tech heavy as well. Glad to know there is some sort of reasoning to why we are getting passed over.

Good for me, I ordered none of those options. :)

BH 2500 hemi...

My estimated ship date was 9/16 so I figured I would check with ram chat to see what they say.

They said : "Your vehicle has been built, however, it is still pending quality inspections and addition of optional packages. Please check again with us in a week or 2 for further updates on your vehicle order status."

The equipment listing hasn't populated yet, maybe because although it's built it isn't completed yet?
