I’m a really thoughtful husband. I sold my ‘17 2500, took my wife’s ‘15 LX570 and bought her a an ‘02 land cruiser to drive until my new truck comes in so I’m perfectly content the LX is pretty fast and very comfortable lol. She said I was selfish but I don’t understand her sometimes… I don’t see what the problem was. I got her a new to her car in this whole process…

Hahaha. Similar but my wife was the thoughtful one. Let me take her new 2021 Ranger and she gets stuck with the 2011 Touareg. Still a nice SUV... when it works.

It was all part of my master plan to get an older Land Cruiser and use it as a 3rd rig and possibly convert into a overland style family adventure rig. Plus i took her car and put in on my company vehicle allowance program so i can use my fuel card with it. That part was a must since i have a heavy foot and the 5.7L V8 is thirsty. I'm getting about 13mpg in it right now and used to get 14.5mpg in my last tundra with the same engine haha.

My wife bought a 21 Tahoe said they had one on the lot. My buddy with the Denali 2500 really enjoyed it. She should not have my ssn big mistake! Told her we can have a welder make a 5th wheel tow dolly for the bumper pull and see how it does. She looked at me like I'm an idiot per normal.

Traded my 2018 MC 6.7 to the dealer. Bought this 1998 Sierra 4x4 beater to hold me over. I think I’m about to redo the leather seats.

I was in the process of buying a 1997 F350 dually 7.3, 98,000 original miles, when my 2021 showed up, so I didn’t need to buy it after all.

Thank you.
Wash it every other month. Don’t do anything special to it lol but it has held up well. Drivetrain-wise this thing has been amazing. Oem injectors and literally everything under the hood is original (only missing the EGR). I live in a pretty new neighborhood and have a new driveway, I can leave it the driveway for weeks and not a single drop of oil. My friends with duramaxs can’t believe it. Their trucks leak not just drip lol.
Average out 35-40k miles a year so it’s on the interstate a lot.

I might not sell it when I get my 2022. This can be my backup truck. I tell everyone, I’d trust this truck to drive across the world is it was possible.
