2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

You qualified your statement with "everyone here that ordered a 2022 truck". I don't complain much, have an "it is what it is" attitude. I haven't complained once in this forum personally but can give insight to the ones griping (that aren't canceling). There are a bunch of us to include me that ordered a 2021 truck. I was told 8 weeks and convinced to sell them my 2015 Laramie 3500 and 2018 limited 2500. My kid drove my one ton and was going out of state to college so I sold the trucks, bougt her a Kia disposable car. The trade-ins were a good deal, great even, and the dealer split the profit above the trade-in after the trucks were sold. I am paying MSRP cause I don't want the effort of shopping or shipping. I then got a call of congratulations my order was changed to a 2022. I realize I could kill the deal, but I'm excited to have a fully-loaded truck without a sunroof on the way. I only use the sunroof the day I pick it up to make sure it works, then close the interior cover when it vibrates open on a washboard road. I have gone off on a tangent... sorry. Just a fun note to shed light on the complaints: People who dumped their trucks and can't pull their trailer to the campground until the new one arrives have nothing better to do than gripe on this forum. Thanks for the ear.
Yes, I specifically said those that ordered a 2022 Truck. Had I ordered a 2021 and it never got built and I was in a situation like you I'd be pretty upset. If they let you order it, they should have built it. Sorry to hear your unfortunate situation. And all the others thar ordered 2021's never to get them.

Thats why it seems comical to me listening to so many complain that they haven't received their 2022. Considering building started a little over a month ago.

"Sandi has already confirmed that those that were previously ordered will get the Night Edition. It should just effect those ordering now."

good news. mine was ordered on 09/08. I hope I squeaked through the closing gates.
Wish I knew the date.

Make no mistake, I'm not upset, just could see how some can be. My life is sweet, curveballs don't shake me "it is what it is". Been good food coming off the smoker a bunch so I can pretend I'm at the lake or the woods. The beer helps! I'm excited that this is the first vehicle I haven't settled on. The shortage forced my hand but the outcome will be cool. #wereallinthistogether takes on a new meaning for the Mopar folks in this forum!

Far more respectable and less douchey than the Honda CR-V I've been driving to work that says "UNM Mom" on the back window.

1987 Toyota MR2 with no AC for me. Lol Sold my F350 back in May when I ordered the Ram. Maybe just like 5-6 months premature. The 95+ degree days this summer have sucked to say the least.

Pretty sure I’m on every list to make the wait longer. Sunroof, all the tech, ramboxes, Longhorn, plus the power steps and bed step. Wasn’t too bitter about it until I had a buddy get his 22 Superduty last week…

Ordered 8/17 Ram Laramie Mega Cab 4X4 Vin -3C6UR5NL9NG156510 - Pearl White, Cold Weather Group, Show Chief group, 5th wheel/gooseneck, towing prep group Tow group B, Safety Group B, Air Suspension, Laramie Level A, Sport appearance, Spray Bed Liner.

Replacing my 2020 exact same thing (other than the safety group) that was totalled with less than 19K miles on it. Didn't have it a full year.

Now I am in a rental, cant pull my 2021 Refection 337 RLS so staying in a hotel while working on the road. I Have been lurking for a bit and finally decided to sign up
Welcome. Yeah, lots of guys are in the same boat as far as not having a truck. Mostly our decisions as we either sold what we had or will trade. I'm working/living out of my 5er at a RV park. Extended until Mar 2022. Hoping to have my tow rig by then...

lol I had an 85 MR2 back in 88 dang I thought I was cool!

This thread is getting crazy! We have people looking at Google maps trying to find their trucks and people tracing train routes from Mexico to Chicago. Anyone plan on going to Saltillo and camp out?

I have never seen so many anxious people waiting for something to deliver. I am not trying to talk crap on anyone, I really get a kick out of reading these posts.
Not much has changed since I ordered my 2014 Limited 3500.

That is what I was seeing while lurking for the past week or two. IDK about waiting to get your RV that long. I was able to pull mine home and it went in the shop. You will always find QA/QC issues on a new RV. I could not believe the cost difference between the 21 and 22. And when you get it on the road you never seem to get it back for the warranty work.

I was told when I ordered my truck that it would be November before I got my truck. I was just lucky to get a rental of any kind. Happen to be in a ram 1500 and I don't like the base model at all. FOrget the luxury items, there is no 110 outlet and only one cigarette lighter in this truck. I have to focus on the positive, I did get it for 30 a day and the insurance is paying me 81 (cost of 2500/3500 I need to pull my RV) so it helps with the hotel. Ram and Ford both have recalls on their HD trucks and no one has one to rent.

My RV is going on a year and it needs some warranty work. Nothing major, but stuff I wanted done before the warr. is up. Now it's planted where it is and I can't get it in to service. I do have a buddy with an HD that has the 5th/GN prep, so if it comes to it I'll get him to tow it in for me. But again, I'm basically living out of it when I'm in AZ for work so there's that. Anywho, I'm due back next week and my wife is nice enough to lend me here 2021 Ranger to drive from TX to AZ. We have two other's, but we're try to sell one of those and the 3thrd is our daughters.

Yep. The VW we're going to sell needed warranty and was in the shop for almost 2mths. Emissions issues. So that was my beater, but don't want to drive that far in case the same problem arises. VW will not allow you to restart once it detects certain emissions issues.

Edit: the dealer couldn't get me a rental or a loaner even though they were required to. I had to find one on my own. VW will reimburse.

I’m a really thoughtful husband. I sold my ‘17 2500, took my wife’s ‘15 LX570 and bought her a an ‘02 land cruiser to drive until my new truck comes in so I’m perfectly content the LX is pretty fast and very comfortable lol. She said I was selfish but I don’t understand her sometimes… I don’t see what the problem was. I got her a new to her car in this whole process…
Hahaha. Similar but my wife was the thoughtful one. Let me take her new 2021 Ranger and she gets stuck with the 2011 Touareg. Still a nice SUV... when it works.

It was all part of my master plan to get an older Land Cruiser and use it as a 3rd rig and possibly convert into a overland style family adventure rig. Plus i took her car and put in on my company vehicle allowance program so i can use my fuel card with it. That part was a must since i have a heavy foot and the 5.7L V8 is thirsty. I'm getting about 13mpg in it right now and used to get 14.5mpg in my last tundra with the same engine haha.
NICE!
