Well, here are the new laramie levels C and D. Looks like the major change is power folding mirrors are no longer available. They only offer manual folding mirrors. This is going to be a pain for me as I retract my mirrors to get into my garage...

I don't understand how power fold mirrors would operate off of a chip any different that power adjustable pedals and why that specific option is being nixed from basic packages unless they are just trying to force the hand of the consumer in a package up-sale.....

I totally agree... No way should anyone pony up to a Laramie and still be folding in the mirrors manually... $60K+ is insane to miss out on the convenience items.

It was protected until someone ordered a Limited last week and their truck is getting built before yours :D:D Just kidding of course but seeing newer orders getting built before ones in May/ June is pretty irritating...

At least you still get the foam bottle inserts!!
 
The other changes that are affecting my order is BSM is no longer available, even as a stand alone item. The Tow technology group is also no longer available which includes surround view camera system and the tow mirrors with power convex mirrors. With these changes, I do not think I will be ordering until these items are available again. :-(

Lol I hear you. June 17 order here, I’m one that kicked from D1 back to D and then radio silence.
On a side note does anyone know if ceramic coatings bond and harden just as well in winter months as summer/fall? One of the first things I want to do.

I would assume its an effort to reduce the amount of semiconductors that are required for each truck, this way they can try to make more and continue to stay profitable.
 
Not that I really expected anything different with my Limited order from 27 Aug, I did get the RAMCHAT to say its still "D (since 2 Sep)", I am showing that your order is in the scheduling phase of the manufacturing process. The parts required to build the vehicle are being scheduled and as soon as they available and ready, order will be scheduled for build. Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided.

I only ask that it may give some folks a clear understanding that Limited Mega Cabs are NOT a priority to bump others. I check once a week (Dealer or Ramchat)

Assuming you are getting it done professionally, the season will not matter. Any shop worth their salt will do they paint decontamination/corrections and coating in a climate controlled garage. Ceramic coatings are cured using UV lamps. This is certainly an area where you get what you pay for.
