2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I also got the bed group,5th wheel package, snow chief, buckets with the light frost biege trim, power outlets everywhere. Chips r us!
Lol we just gotta be patient. I paid a little under invoice with Costco auto program and no delivery charges from Louisiana.

Did everyone order from mark dodge on here? Isn’t shipping high? I was getting prices around $3k to ship my trade in and ship my new order to me in mass. I ended up just ordering local and got $2500 off msrp and $6k more for my trade than what I paid for .
I bought from Mark. It’s 800-1200 shipping the new truck to AZ. If we can get a group together, it might be cheaper.
I’m not dealing with a trade. Did a private party a couple months ago.

Why ship a trade in?!? Tons of places around you that would pay prob close to what Mark would pay!

Pretty much. You end up spending double shipping to save on tax money. In my situation, it made sense to sell my truck for $6000 more than the dealers offered on trade and pay the $1800 extra in tax and NOT pay shipping.

I ordered from them at the end of July. Just paid the regular $1600 destination fee. I’ll fly down when the truck arrives and drive it home.

The main difference is Laramie seats aren’t full leather. They are leather with a suede type inserts. Which I don’t agree with. I’ve had several mid level trucks with full leather seats. The Limited and Longhorn are the only ones with FULL leather seats. And the headlights are worth the upgrade, too.

I would have considered the Limited to get the nicer seats and the directional headlights, but since the headliner and pillars only come in black in the Limited unless you go indigo/frost, that was a no-go for me. Not a fan of all black interiors. The Laramie black seats come with light color pillars and headliners so that was best I could do. No way I was going with the cattle tan or whatever it's called. The brown carpet was definitely not gonna happen. Also, not a fan of the "wood" on the steering wheel or the filigree designs in the interior. Thus, hoping the Laramie "leather" seats are a nice enough upgrade from my 2006 cloth SLT seats for my arse to not wonder "what-if?" :D

I'm about a 5 hour drive (320mi) from Lake Charles, LA so I'll likely rent a car one-way and have them pick me up at the airport which is about 15 mins from the dealership. They do offer free delivery within 250mi so I could get them to about 1.5 hours from me with that, but I'd rather be the one to put the first 250 miles on the truck.

Mountain Brown is what you are thinking of. It comes with the brown carpets. Cattle Tan has the black two tone and black carpet and headliner.

I'm in Georgetown. Last time I spoke with Sandi she said they could work it out where they would just deliver it to me no extra charge. Approx 300ish miles from them. I'm sure she'd do the same to Round Rock.

Where do you live? I’m in North MS, about 7 hrs away but have family in Jackson and will split the trip up.

Ok good. I did go with the level 2 but couldn’t find anywhere that said it upgraded to the HK system.
Standard on the laramie is the Alpine, laramie level 2 includes 17 speaker Harmon Kardon

Yeah i saw its not very clear, but when the saleman opened up the equipment listing for that specific package it did say Harmon Kardon. Otherwise, the $4000 package is only for heated rear seats, nav, and the ability to have the automatic running boards. Thats not worth $4000 to me.

Thanks for letting me know. If I need that service good to know they may go the extra 65 miles.

Gotcha. Neither were appealing to me. The indigo frost may have been ok but I’d have to see just how blue the indigo looks in person. The frost part looked nice in the photos. The extra $4-$5k just added too many other things I didn’t want so Laramie it was for me. I also wanted to keep the discounted sales price with a 6 in front vs a 7 just for psychological reasons! :)

Yeah. I woulda loved to have the Indigo and frost. I dig those blue dashes even back to the old BImmers. But same for me but for different reasons. I was willing to step up to the Longhorn (cattle tan), but not the Limited. It just pushed it to far from what I wanted to spend.
