I came from a 2017 lariat crew cab to my 20 limited mega cab . I personally think my Ford had more room in the back .
Out of curiosity I compared a 3500 Laramie Mega to an F350 Lariat Crew.

Rear Headroom: Ram (39.8") - Ford (40.4")
Rear Legroom: Ram (40.2") - Ford (43.6")
Rear Hiproom: Ram (62.7") - Ford (64.7")
Rear Shoulder room: Ram (65.6") - Ford (65.9")

They're both quite similar in available space for passengers. While the mega has a TON more storage space behind the seats it also has the transmission tunnel hump in the middle of the floor whereas the ford has an entirely flat back seat floor.

Instead of contacting RAM chat, just give me your VIN. I’ll go shake my magic 8 ball.
Probably get better info with a magic 8 ball. Talked to my salesman about Ram changing builds. He stated he talked to his rep and was told there just rumors and nothing has changed. The rep also said they started full production last Monday. Ordered my Big Horn 5/10 and was supposed to have a ship date of 8/12. As of now it is back to D status with no other info available.

The salesman and the Rep need to do some learning.

Not HD’s, but a look into package changes for 1500. News came out today.

Hopefully as others mentioned hopefully it doesn't affect the HD's but if so I'm still hoping to "dodge" that bullet with the thoughts that I ordered a "basic" Limited with the only option being the bed step. I have no issues getting the truck without it should it save me from a delay.

That is what I did too. Excited to get the Olive - don't really see any Rams in that color around here.
Seen several 1500 in the color and they look okay but I fell in love with the olive green when I saw a 3500 crew cab dually. It looks really good on a big truck like that!

Are you saying they’ve been at full production since 8/9? Talked to my dealer yesterday and they have seen no movement on any of their orders. My dealer also told me they are being told the plant has not been running at full production. ( not meant argumentative)

I ordered a 2022 2500 6.4 gas Laramie MegaCab 4x4 11weeks ago and it's still in D status according to my salesman today. Salesman is trying to get me a 12" with no charge because of the delay. Anyone else heard of this being possible?
Sounds nice but it also sounds highly unlikely. I think your salesman is just trying to keep you happy. Wish you luck though!
