Not HD’s, but a look into package changes for 1500. News came out today.

From that article “All orders that have been already placed will be modified at the factory to match the updated lineups.”

don’t like the sound of that

Lots of stuff to be concerned about here for all trims. Concerning, especially for my order (Limited), is that they yanked the advanced safety group from the 1500 Limiteds. Even the top trim is untouched. Not the end of the world if this translates to HD’s, but also not what I ordered. Sucks. Again, if HD’s end up being impacted, I’d much rather be given an option in my order: wait a TBD amount of time and get what I ordered, or get it sooner, save a few bucks, and strip out certain pieces. I guess we’ll see, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Saw this great article and thought it would be helpful.... https://www.autoblog.com/2021/08/26/2022-ram-1500-options-changes-production/. I had a very busy week. To all who reached out to me with questions or for a quote, I will be answering many tomorrow while my husband is driving us to a vacation spot for a little r&r. But, I will be answering and on here throughout the weekend. Thanks for your patience!

And, for the latest breaking headlines from this reporter's vantage point... we have Ram Trucks starting to move in production! As of just now when checking on our orders, we have vehicles with an E status (welding) and F status (paint). We still have 2 chassis in temporary storage. But, the movement is a good sign! :-D

I'm reading if someone ordered a Rebel or Laramie QC, they're getting a crew cab?
Not sure yet if anything written in this means it will affect orders, as this is a 3rd party article, not anything sent to us by the factory. I'll also see just what our order screens now allow for new orders. If anyone has an actual order in on something they say changed, you may want to check with your selling dealer.

If these changes were to actually carry over to the HD trucks the only thing I see that would change my Laramie order would be dropping the protection package. I ordered that specifically for the tow hooks. If this happens can you get tow hooks installed after market? Honestly I don’t want an HD truck that doesn’t have tow hooks, it seems absurd to me that they aren’t standard on these trucks.

2022 Superduty production started early July. Deliveries have been coming in since early august. Even some June and July orders have truck in hand. Also, the only commodity or package restriction is adaptive steering orders are not being scheduled. The higher trim trucks seem to be getting favored for production.

Had 2 buddy’s who ordered their platinums around the same time I ordered my limited. They are both driving them today . Seems like Ford is doing it right

Wonderful … if that’s the case I’ll cancel my limited .

But back seat in the Ford doesn’t fold down it folds up. Kids and dogs mega cab only.
True . I don’t use it like you but it was nice to have built in storage under the seat in the Ford . Holds a lot more than those tiny cubbies in my ram . But my ram absolutely destroys the Ford in interior design . I ordered a 22 limited with ram boxes for storage purposes

Tow hooks are standard equipment on 3500's. Why they are not on the 2500's is any ones guess.

I have a 16 3500 mega cab fully deleted which I will sell . Was hoping to have the new one in by October.
