That's a good way to get it delayed even more! Hah
The screen doesn't matter to me, just asking if anyone has had your dealership offer this to the customer. I still have my 2019 and time really doesn't matter.1) good luck with any changes after you got a VIN.
2) the dealer could have the 12” added and they could discount the price by however much the option is. Ram wouldn’t give you a “free 12inch screen”.
Gm trucks are 25-26 weeks out. Ford are 30+ weeks.
Ram is in a much better position than the other 2 companies, just takes a bit of research to find that out.

Mine shows gps navigation in the added options. I just have a 3500cclb tradesman with level 2 with the 8.4 and couple things for towing. If I could fine my detailed build sheet I would post a pic of if but I can’t find it. Was at the dealer getting an update a few weeks back and the salesman I was dealing with wasn’t there but another salesman asked if I wanted a print out of my order and said she could print the standard or the detailed copy. Detailed is a break down of all the groups you have chosen and what they include. And it shows uconnect 5 gps nav Sirius xm 360 like the 12” comes with. And a few other things. Idk if I have it bc I have the level 2 or if it’s standard with all 8.4 screens. So even if a tradesman was ordered with just the 8.4 (not nav) that they may just put the 8.4 (with nav) standard now?
I think it’s a standard with uconnect 5.So even if a tradesman was ordered with just the 8.4 (not nav) that they may just put the 8.4 (with nav) standard now?
Plus I read somewhere, Ford has a couple thousand 2021 trucks in storage waiting for computer chips. I'm sure those trucks in storage will have priority as chips become available.Ram is in a much better position than the other 2 companies, just takes a bit of research to find that out.
That is what I did too. Excited to get the Olive - don't really see any Rams in that color around here.I ordered the Olive Green with painted grill and bumpers.
Where did you hear they started on bighorns? My truck is a 3500 mega cab limited ordered on 7/1 with a vin NG118912. Last heard it is in D. I heard they have started on the Bighorn now then the Laramie, then the limited.
The higher trim trucks seem to be getting favored for production.
Wish it was the same for the Limited's with Ram! Admittedly I really considered going Ford but for the same quality and options as a Ram Limited it would have cost me almost $10k more at the MSRP level and I'm not sure that I could have found the same deal as I did at Mark Dodge. Like I just told someone else, it all comes down to communication. I feel like they give us the mushroom treatment. And for those that don't know what that means, "they feed you a bunch of $hit and keep you in the dark".
That Ford back seat is pretty huge. Some say bigger than the mega. I haven’t compared them side by side.Same here! I can spec out a Lariat Tremor w/ 7.3 for a few more thousand than I’m paying for the Limited w/ Hemi. But, the MegaCab is a scale tipper for me.

It is. Just Google "contact ram" and the website that starts with FCA click on it. Then click the icon that shows a person I believe then click the chat button. You will tell them you address, email, phone and last 8 of vin and they will give you the status of your build. Not gonna lie, wish this was available to us!![]()

"Dave,
The quality assurance hold has been lifted. It is officially in KZ status, which means they working on the logistics of getting it shipped out to us. These heavy duty trucks take a train from Saltillo Mexico to Baltimore, and then a transport truck brings it to the dealer from Baltimore. I will let you know once it is on a train headed to Baltimore!"
