1500 seats fit into 2500 cab?

Anyone know if 2020 1500 front driver seat would fit in a 2021 2500 ?

The cab of the HD is still the old 4th Gen. The 1500 is all new, 5th Gen. Check out this thread from Ram Forums. Maybe it will answer your questions.

We will find out - I don't think anyone has done this yet. Well; I just bought a set of seats from a 5th Gen Crew Cab Sport...and I've got a 4th Gen Crew Sport! The fronts seem like they'll be easy enough (swap over the brackets); the back seat...well, might get interesting. Will keep...

You'd have to find out if the rails will match up. Then also if the harnesses are the same.

I measured the rails. They line up. Going to try to wire it up this week. I’ll let you know how it goes.

What about the back seat out of the 5gen 1500? Will it fit? They are reclining seats, unlike our seats in the 2500.

Update** had to change the passenger seat as well to match the driver seat. I swapped them out of a big horn into my tradesman and the stitching pattern was slightly different. Only noticed afterwards.

How did you wire them up? I only ask because I know that Ram used to run wiring and not use it (such as power heated mirrors). Did you just plug into an existing harness?

Hey. Everything was just plug and play into existing wires and harness. Pretty straight forward. Passenger seat had 4 extra vertical bolts attached to the Center console that made it harder to remove than the driver side. Other than that it was smooth. Unplugged the battery 20 minutes prior to the swap as well to avoid any engine codes or airbags etc.
