Hey, Maybe its just me or the way I built the truck, but I spec'd out a Big horn with everything that I wanted, Then I spec'd out a Laramie with the minimum I would want (Basically everything I would want to add to the Big horn) and the rough numbers came out to be only about $2000 more for the Laramie. I decided that vented seats, the fender flares, and the slightly nicer interior/seats were easily worth $2000.I'm about to pull the trigger on a new order. Dealer is giving me a great figure for my 2018 Ram 2500 Mega loaded Big Horn Can you guys give me your input on build?
2022 Ram 2500 Mega Big Horn
2HZ - Diesel
-Level B pkg (There was a level C package listed when I was at the dealer on Sat, would not open specs due to system slowness)
-Big Horn Silver Edition
-Tech Pkg
-5th wheel prep grp
-Off road pkg
-Bucket seats
-Spray liner/bed lights (cheaper to go w bed utility grp?)
-220 amp
-Cab lights
-Rear wheel liners
More cost effective to go with Laramie? Leather seats aren't a must. Any other pkg I should look at?
I would recommend doing a similar comparison on what you want. On the 1500's the big horn is usually the best way to go for price because you get a ton of incentives and it brings the price gap between the big horn and the Laramie to a pretty significant amount. That is not the case on the 2500 because incentives are few and far between.
Just my two cents but the Laramie was the better option for what I was looking for.
