2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Yeah, seems I remember seeing that too. I guess I’ll just email her.

When I asked her a couple weeks ago, she said they wouldn't evaluate mine until we actually had some kind of delivery date. It's near 1000 mile drive for me and I do need my truck in the meantime, so I'm at the mercy of the market I guess.

Read this article this morning:

I wouldnt be surprised if we see used vehicle prices start to climb again.

I have a 2015 Sierra I was planning to sell or trade when my new truck comes in. Hard to decide if I should sell it now or wait.

If anyone talks to Sandi about trade values, let me know what she says. That way, we don’t all bother her.

They lock the trade value 60 days from the order date. You can trade in early (before new truck arrives) ONLY if your vehicle is fully paid for. It is a huge tax savings for me to trade in vs selling outright. In Georgia anyway it works out much better for taxable trade value when new truck is $60k+ and trade is $40K+. Paying taxes on $20k works much better than $60k+.

I have been wondering the same thing. 3 days after I ordered mine the wife had talked me back into the black buckets but now it's to late. Dealer had told me once the order is in they can't change anything
My dealer said the same when I asked for a change. I said thanks, cancel the order and I’ll order from another dealer. They backed off and ordered what I wanted

Changing an order isn't up to the dealer, it's up to FCA to accept any changes once the VIN is assigned (about 48 hrs after order submission). If you want changes made, they usually cancel the first order and reorder which will generate a new VIN and schedule based on the new order date

Haha, my dealer told me that I've been kicked back to D status again, I was in D1 for a whopping 72 hours, microchip BS again

Anyone else have issues where dealerships put together a configuration preview based on the build you give them and it is wrong? Each dealership I have contacted has failed in putting together a configuration preview that matches the build I give them. Becoming incredibly frustrating. Just wondering if this is common or not.

Yes. The first dealer kind of screwed me. Quoted me 5k less than the truck actually cost because they didn’t add half the options I wanted. They failed to mention that until I wanted to actually place the order and the price went up 5k.

some of that might be because what you are building online is the 2021 model year, and what is ordered is a 22. Not too many changes from what I can tell but it could be a factor.

Yes! I sent my PDF to a non-Mark dealer and they missed MAJOR options of 4x4 and the cummins option throwing my quote way off. I kindly asked them to triple check my options...

Im doing a pretty straight forward build. But they are missing HUGE things. The last one I received back they got the color of the vehicle wrong. It's disappointing to be honest. Here is a customer ready to order a vehicle right now, and they miss easy things like this.

No issues with Mark or Chapman (Andrea). Both were spot on.

My local dealer had it all screwed up. He called and wanted to know what I thought about it. I told him that’s not my build at all and he tried to argue with me that it was exactly what I sent him.

My local dealer wouldn’t even respond :D

I see. I ordered from Mark Dodge, they were super easy. I made a color change two days later and they were good about that as well.

I'm pretty new here, but what's the reason everyone is posting there vin when they get them?

There is a member here who put together an order tracking spreadsheet to better help determine what is getting built, where the delays may be. It's actually a pretty cool spreadsheet or whatever it's called. See this link below
