Price negotiated from MSRP

Is tread lightly in addition to mark Dodge's discounts? It says 1% below invoice but I am already past that. So can you stack an additional 1%?

Yeah, if you order from Mark Dodge, the Tread Lightly won’t apply!

I talked with Aaron today and he said I could do tread lightly and the military discount with their pricing. He said PendFed wasn't stackable w/military though.
That's weird. When I was talking to Sandi about it she said that Tread Lightly wouldn't gain me anything. When I ordered my wife's jeep from a different dealer they changed their discount from 6% below invoice to 7% below with Tread Lightly so I thought Mark Dodge might do the same but she said they don't. Maybe I need to bring it up again.

Yeah I'd ask again. I know they won't adjust their pricing since I already signed the BO and was simply asking about additional rebates that could be used. He said the Tread Lightly would net me an additional $500 off and could be applied....

Still waiting to see what the PenFed is if they offer it for the 2022s. I've got plenty of time though to research more rebates since I told them to time mine for Jan when I get back. Pretty much all I do in my free time haha.

Just not sure that makes sense, though. Tread lightly (Affiliate Pricing) is a discount for 1% below FIP (Factory Invoice Pricing). The discount Mark dodge is offering is below 1%, so, I’m not really sure how this will benefit. It doesn’t mean they will drop the price, another 1%.

Unless they get a rebate from FCA for that 1% that they pass onto the consumer and not try to pocket...So essentially, they do 6% plus the additional 1% that they get back from FCA. I saw it mentioned on the 1500 forums and there were examples of a few stacking it on top of big discounts there as well.

Even if it doesn't end up working, it's $100 to a good cause. I won't lose any sleep. The Mark Dodge discount is fantastic in the current climate. And they are certainly making it hassle free for me.

Ordered from Mark Dodge with Sandi. (2 trucks)

MSRP $81,675

Sale price $72,772 plus $444 document/temp tag/notary fee.
Almost 9k off MSRP.

I’ll take it. Local and a few dealerships in neighboring states were saying pay MSRP or take a hike. So glad I found this forum to learn about Mark Dodge and others that still have good deals.

Yeah man!....you're saving just under 18 grand on those two. Can't complain about that.

Anybody get any good deals from a dealer in Washington state? Or how about Dave Smith in Kellog Idaho?
I thought one of the Bud Clary’s was 500 under invoice….it was something like that. Not the one in Auburn. The other one.

edit: Bud clary Auburn is around invoice +/- $500. Moses Lake might get you a better deal.

Does the tread lightly affiliate pricing apply to a 3500 limited? Or is it just certain vehicle configurations?

Interested in ordering a 3500 limited megacab SRW. So far none of the dealers I have talked to in the Phoenix area are willing to budge off of msrp.

I got a quote through Dennis Dillon and they actually came a few hundred below Mark Dodge with the only caveat being you would have to use their financing (chrysler) and could only put down $10k max. They also require a 3-5k deposit to order. You could also use your own financing but would add $2k to their quoted price. I decided to go through mark dodge but was surprised at the quote I got from Dennis Dillon and highly considered it since it was about half the distance for me.

With the prices you all are being given from the dealerships, have they said the price may fluctuate due to changes in costs of materials?

Just a FYI for anybody considering Dennis Dillion . Its not actually chrysler financing , I purchased through dennis dillion and put 10% down and it was financed through my local credit union. I also put a $1000 deposit not 3-5 like you got quoted . The reason you finance through them is they get a kickback from the bank for $2k which is passed on to you , but you only have to keep the loan open for 6 months and you can refinance or pay it off like i did. Only cost me $380 in interest so well worth the savings. interest rate was 3.85% so very comparable to other banks i asked .

I just went through this with them. The said Chrysler financing. Also wanted $3k down. I don’t have time to finance and then re finance when it could be done correctly the first time. No need for multiple hits on the credit. Mark Dodge was $100 higher and none of these special contingencies.
