More helpful than other responses they’ve given.
Just spoke to women at ram customer care plants open but not producing 22 yet she advised me check back in 1 week for more update. I'm just the messenger.

Ordered 2 trucks on 8/7/2021.

Never too many HOs in your life I suppose

It’s funny how some of you takes your salesman’s word on anything. 95% of these morons don’t know the first thing about what they’re trying to sell you, let alone inside information. There are the few in the 5% though…
You are very correct a number of sale folks were paint experts at Sherwin Williams a few weeks ago and door to door encyclopedia sale folks before that.

I just contacted ram chat. Have been trying to put off getting an update on my order so I wouldn’t get excited but was curious. Ordered 6/14 vin ng107196 3500 drw 6.7ho tradesmanAF0A9268-57FD-4574-9B68-4641049927F6.jpeg

talked to my dealer. He said they were all in D1 status this morning with one that was supposed to be shipped.
when he looked again, all them flipped back to D except for two. One is D1 still and another is in “storage”
He looked to see if there was any notifications on it and none were sent out too

I was in D1 with a 8/13 estimated ship date and I'm back in D status. Damn... VIN 3C6UR5KL7NG120724 Laramie Crew Long Bed.

Honestly there’s no telling what is true. Could they have pushed production back yes, could they be building trucks yes. Could they be building lower trims first, or the higher trims first, could one hand not know what the other is doing? All those are a yes and I would be that one hand doesn’t know what the other is doing. Saw it first hand when I was a Chrysler tech. We got told we could install xm radio in a Cherokee that didn’t come with it so we did. New radio, wiring, antenna, the works. Added sales code. Worked for a week and then got turned off. Chrysler said if it didn’t come with xm you can’t add it one week after we were told we could. I would think some people are being told certain things to tide them over for awhile either due to volume of questions about ordered trucks or bc the person doesn’t know or doesn’t know how to find out. I’ve seen that a lot too. Until one shows up on a lot I think there is probably no telling.

I think it's important what we do know.

Does anyone know if they break for the weekend, or are they manufacturing 24/7?
If the latter, the bugs should get worked out faster and perhaps we have some better news by Monday . . .
