2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Very smart move
Screw those msrp dealers, there greedy and are losing to mark dodge and few others
I was lucky when I ordered my 2022 back in early May and got a Friends and Family pricing on mine but a few weeks ago that dealer stopped participating in that program. They are honoring the pricing on the new Ram because the deal was made before they stopped participating in the program so I had to go to another dealership to get the Friends and Family pricing on my wife’s new Jeep.

AMP Research makes an OBD2 splitter that'll give you 2 ports.
From what I have read, it won't work with these 2020 and up trucks. They don't even have that option on their website.
Ill-fitting? I have read that the AMP Steps fit and look better than the OEM option Steps.
If having to jump on them and cut sheetmetal means they fit well, I'd hate to see a $1400 step that fit poorly

As Kingphillips said "How do you figure..." Canada has the best deals? Ordered through Sandi; 2022 Laramie 3500 CC, 4x4, et cetera with a 80k msrp , I am paying 71k. Unless you can convince me that a Canadian Dealer can do a lot better. I will be getting my wife's vehicle from Sandi at Mark Dodge.
30% less not more. Besides, there is no duty or tax at the border because of the US/Canada/Mexico free trade agreement.

I priced up my truck in Canada with a MSRP $93260 Canadian Dollars and I got it for $73000 Canadian.
Many dealers up here offering around a 20% discount off MSRP. I got a bit better.

Priced the exact same truck off the ram.com (US site) and it had a MSRP of $77000 US Dollars.
Your saying a good price on a truck in the USA is 12% off MSRP so that would be $68000 US Dollars.

So at a conservative 25% exchange rate at the bank between the US and Canadian Dollar, my Canadian truck
would be would be a little under $55000 US Dollars.

Our biggest problem up here in Canada is that it takes over 6 to 8 months to get a truck.
You say msrp is 93260$ but you don’t indicate what the build is. Also I’d have to see your purchase sales agreement and build sheet and you’ll make believer out of me without those documents i have my doubts.

You send me your email address and I will send you a copy of my build sheet and sales agreement.
I am not posting it over a public forum.

Far from the best deal on the Planet! If you American guys could live with the longer build times
you could save a lot of money purchasing from a Canadian Dealer.
It is my understanding that if you buy a canadian truck, there is no warranty on it in the US.

I figured there could be some sort of problem!

If I purchase a new truck out of the USA and import it into Canada the warranty is voided.

So much for free trade!
And who wants to wait 6 months.more downside to dealing with canada

Some facts you should know if you are plan to import a vehicle from the U.S. or Mexico: You may have to report to U.S. or Mexican Customs for clearance to export the vehicle. You must pay taxes and/or duties when applicable to bring your vehicle through Canadian customs.

It does suck having to wait so long for a order. I do know that the majority of our
used trucks in Canada are sent across the border to the USA because of the strong US Dollar.

Thanks for your doc, but your paying ridiculous taxes more than $11,000 wow it’s expensive to live in canada. We are at 6.25% here In Massachusetts. And your doc fee of$500. Were paying $200 from mark dodge and xtra discounts of $1,000 from penfed and tread lightly another $500 coupon

The dominant numbers on the analog speedo are in KPH. Any units on the EVIC and radio display can be changed back and forth via settings menus.
We always get the trucks in Spanish and try to find the language to switch it.

And to buy a truck made in Mexico, shipped to Canada and back to the US,what could go wrong

Very smart move
I had been talking to Sandi for a a few months. Been waiting to decide on the right truck and right time to buy. Before I reached out to her one last time I thought I'd give my local guys one more shot. Wasted effort. Just like others have posted here, Sandi is awesome! Great to work with and to converse with. Looking to get a Gladiator Rubicon in the near future for my wife from Sandi!

Gonna sign up with Tread Lightly. Thx for that. $100 membership fee, but that's $400 discount after the fee. It helps. Any other companies offering FCA discount you guys know of?

I did a quick search and found this list. A bit old but some companies are still on it. Looking for the 2021 list. Also this link...

Edit...updated with current list PDF. Also, anyone have a Tread Lightly membership discount code?
