The beautiful 1964 Dodge Power Wagon Crew Cab Sweptline pickup is not what you think! Originally built in September 1963, the body was completely overhauled in 2016 and placed upon a shortened 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab 4×4 by ICON in Los Angeles, California before being sent to LaBrecque Autocraft of East Windsor, Connecticut to be completed.
The result is this amazing tough-looking classic Dodge pickup, that is now up for sale on the popular auction site BringATrailer.com.
Painted in gorgeous Gray exterior paint, and features an alligator-skin-textured vinyl roof covering that extends to the rear of the cab. The exterior was also updated with a set of customized MOVE bumpers and LED lighting was installed along with an integrated front winch, and the grille, side steps, mirrors, and badging also are finished in black.
To help give the truck its menacing look, a Kore Performance 3-inch lift-kit with FOX shocks and hot-wound coil springs was installed, and the front and rear axles are equipped with red brake calipers and cross-drilled and slotted rotors. A set of two-tone Bronze and Black 18-inch Fuel Off-Road wheels have been fitted and are wrapped in 37-inch Nitto Trail Grappler M/T rubber.
Inside, the Power Wagon features a set of bolstered front bucket seats and a rear bench with Black leather and Gray alligator inserts. The treatment was also done to the headrest, door handles, and the lid of the center console. The truck also features a Vintage Air climate system, power windows, and a BOSS MGR350B marine-grade Bluetooth receiver linked to Scosche components including the speakers, amplifier, and subwoofer.
There is also a four-spoke Forever Sharp steering wheel mounted to a Flaming River tilting steering column with a shifter for the automatic transmission. The odometer reads just over 4,300 miles, with about 1,200 of those miles put on by the current seller.
Under the hood, is a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 from the donor chassis. However, it has been fitted with a Magnuson supercharger, and its Bouchillon Performance Engineering computer is said to have been tuned by Jannetty Racing Enterprises of Waterbury, Connecticut. The water pump, alternator, starter, and radiator were replaced, and other features include iridium spark plugs, performance injectors, a K&N conical air filter, and a custom exhaust with JBA headers and Flowmaster mufflers.
The truck will continue to be up for auction until, Tuesday, August 23rd. For more information or to bid on this amazing machine, you can check out BringATrailer.com.
